|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

Thank you so much for attempting to find a headstone for Katie. This cemetery looks like it's as hard to find as some of those her husband's family is buried in WV.

You are really great! -
I keep a beach bag in my car with a plastic garbage bag, trowl, brush, plastic spatula, and a pair of sissors for the very problem you encountered.
I forwarded the photo to the family historian. I know she will be tickled to see it.
Thanks again, Phyllis

A very special thank you for providing my great grandmother's cemetery marker photo. It looks like you had to dig down to uncover it. That means an extra gold star in my book. Thank you again. Phyllis

Not looking for anyone specifically however, adjacent monuments lead to family links not found..if you know what I mean.. I also know what you mean about overgrowth.. you ought to see some of these I have walked through Europe,,man o man..prickley..
I was looking for some shots of the cemetery in general,,,as there is just one shot on the cemetery page that I can see.. occasionally I take a few surrounding shots of the grave site,,each direction so on-lookers get a feel for where they are buried.. sort of a virtual visit..
Keep up the good work,, and thanks for your time

Hey,, thanks so much for retrieving this one. I did not have high hopes that a monument existed...your time is appreciated..
Did you happen to notice or photograph the surrounding stones or cemetery?
