Re: Infant Harold Cooley
Hi Julie,

Bob Cooley's obit (memorial #106724444) mentions an infant brother Harold.

Their parents married in 1927 (see Effie's memorial). Bob was born in 1928, then the next child appears to have been born in 1932. Because they were both born in Watertown, I placed the baby brother in that cemetery. However, a young infant may have been buried anywhere if they owned land, or if their family owned land. My dad had a baby brother that was buried on the place where the family lived at the time outside Thermopolis, Wyoming. My dad only found out about it as an adult, because while driving by the old place, his dad told him that he had a baby brother who died soon after birth, and was buried there.

Do you think I should take Harold's memorial out of the cemetery? I hate to have a 'burial unknown'.....

Hi Julie,
I added info for them, though I'm hesitant to put Effie's year of death as different than the headstone. I left it as 1986 for now, but if you say that is a mistake, I'll change it to 1985.

Funny... I went to the cemetery to take a photo of them, and right at that moment, the batteries in my camera died! So, you were meant to take their photos. :)

Nick M. Gombash
Parsons & Schumann
Hey Julie,
Absolutely feel free to use any of my photos. The pictures and data of the Schumann family was take from a book that was compiled and published a few years ago.. I think it's actually digitized and available through FamilySearch online now. Here's the book:

I'm not sure which browser you use, but I believe if you use FireFox, you could probably download the whole book file and save it to your computer. There's A LOT of family data in this book.. it's extremely thick.

Feel free to contact me at, I'd love to chat about our Polar township families.. we may end up being cousins! :)

Transferred to you. You can either add the explanation to the memorial, or delete as you think best.
Thanks for notification.

Best regards.

I xferd Hope to you. Feel free to use any photos I've taken on Findagrave and use them anyway you see fit. My own philosophy is that pictures of headstones are more like photocopies than art. The art was done by the stone mason.
