Conoly, McHenry & McVey
Wondering if you are in any way related to the Conoly, McHenry & McVey families you have posted in Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Chester County, PA. I am looking for a contact on this side of my family. Thanks

Parents of Joseph Marion Richmond
Joseph Marion Richmond is my husband's great grandfather. His father, Joseph C. Richmond died when Joseph M. was about a year old. He was listed in the home of his uncle, Pleasant Richmond on the 1870 census, but Pleasant was not his father as you have listed on his findagrave memorial.

RE: Wm Matthew Nesbit etal
I have made the changes and suggested links for Chas & Anna--one "T". Also changed Rosa to one "T", since she is a daughter of Chas and deleted my double "T" entries for Chas and Anna. Hopefully, we've got this correct now. If not, please let me know. I do like for records to be correct. Thank you again.

It's me again--I just checked the cemetery book and find a Benjamin C Nesbit(t), 1875-1901 buried on the same lot. Is he a son? If so, I'll Edit the last name to one "T".

I am entering from cemetery records and have all of the smaller cemeteries done in this northwest part of Adams County, IL. Have been working on New Providence Cemetery, researching and hoping to get it on the Nat'l Register of Historic Places. There are four sections on 10 acres and I have the Old Part done; but oddly enough, keep finding people buried there with no records or stones. I read obituaries and biographies. BTW: Do you have obits for Wm and wife? It would be nice to have them posted. Our cemetery sexton always appreciated them too. Once again, thank you. Rosie II

Thank you for bringing the duplication to my attention; my entries have been deleted. My information had the last name with "tt" the reason for entering them that way. There are still Nesbitt's in our areas and they spell it with 2 "T's", the reason I didn't question the spelling.

Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave and other's. Rosie II

I can't merge them as they are not duplicates in the usual sense.

The record of her burial for Lakeview remains simply as a bookmark if you will. thats why I put links on both memorials which I have requested.

Silas Nicholson
Silas is #125606682

His wife Defsie Abigail (Vaughan) Nicholson is apparently buried in Rock Prairie per this index:

Section McCoy, lot 9 block 1 A Nicholson Defsie 1848 - 1935.

I wonder if you could check this next time you are in that cemetery?

Thank you!!

Hugh Duncan
Greyledge Gal, My name is Marcy Hammers. I went to Johns Chapel Cemetery in Ash Grove, Mo. today. I'm sorry I didn't find Hugh Duncan yet. I ran out of daylight as I was searching other cemeteries today. I am planning on going back when the weather gets a little warmer & I have a day I can drive that far. If I find a monument I will take a photo of it for you.

Church Volunteer
Conley R Pierce
Thank you for your inquiry. Conley is actually buried in the town cemetery and not at the church cemetery (where his parents are buried). We did a follow-up memorial in this case for their children that we could find in the local area; Conley being one of them. The dates & info we used for his memorial are from Mt. Hebron's records and Conley's headstone itself and it's not unusual for the dates not to always match up. Conley was indeed buried next to his first wife, Katherine (d.1910). The only info that we added to their memorials from church records was their wedding info. I'll be glad to note the disparity in Conley's date of passing in the narrative to assist other researchers. Thank you indeed for all the new details. Most Sincerely, C.V.

RE: James William Wilson memorial problem
Thank you for the update. I was at Hopewell for some other research and just happened to select several memorials to include in my collection. I don't believe these Wilsons were relatives.

RE: Samuel S Boone
I know what you mean, on one of my gg uncles his death date is different on 3 different military papers!

Added by cm on Dec 17, 2014 12:48 PM

RE: Samuel S Boone
I only post the dates shown on stones since I usually do not have a connection to the person.

As you know sometimes stones are made years later and can have to wrong information.
