David Fleming
Pepperell Cemeteries

I see you have posted photos from several cemeteries in the Pepperell area so I am hoping you can provide some information about some things that are confusing to me.

I have also been working on the family name of Blood and I have found records in the following 3 cemeteries:

Pepperell Cemetery, also known as: Association Cemetery, Park Street Cemetery
8 Park Street, Pepperell

Walton Cemetery
8 Park Street, Pepperell

Woodlawn Cemetery
40 Heald Street, Pepperell

I am confused about the fact that Pepperell Cemetery and Walton Cemetery have the same address! Can you tell me why that would be?

Another problem I have is that years ago someone had created records in FindAGrave for Capt. Edmond Blood and Edmond T. Blood and others for Walton Cemetery but today these records appear to be gone and other records now exist for them in Woodlawn Cemetery! Any idea why these would be listed in one cemetery and then listed in the other? Have they been moving remains for example?

Thanks for any details that you can share about these cemeteries.

caroline warrell
Here's a link you can cut and paste to her death cert. It says her parents were both from England:

Looks like last name was spelled Worrell on the cert.

Hope this helps,

Eda Carson #106716013

This is in regards to Eda Carson at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Here is the link to her death certificate listing that cemetery as her resting place:

I did a search for other Carsons in that cemetery and I found her sister Jessie (Carson) Harvell also buried there. She could be unmarked in that plot.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for letting me know Grace Conway is not buried there. I'll do more research to see if I can find where she is actually buried.

Thanks again.

I added the links to the Ames Family in Beloit for you. Glad you found it. I looked in to this family name a while ago and found confusing dates. Let me know if you come up with anything more to add to the memorials. And i will do the same.

Hello again.... go to info on site.

apparently there is no headstone for thomas smith. If I get permission to visit it I'll take a picture of the cemetery itself as there are only 4 burials there.

RE: smith burial ground
Hi, yes, I looked up the cemeteries in NB and saw that--one cemetery has little evidence of any remaining stones. The other is on the Follansbee property. I am going to ask to look at it. I'll let you know if I can.

Thank you for the photo of Melchior Iten's grave marker. It is very special to "discover" your ancestors' resting spots, especially when you live clear across the country.
With appreciation,

RE: Jane Dickey photo
Interesting, I thought she would be buried with her husband. I saw on her death record that she died in New Boston in 1869. At that time it was still to early for people to be buried too far from where they died. Maybe she's in another town that's not too far away.
