RE: Old Cemetery, Charlemont MA
As you drive west on Route 2, the cemetery is well hidden behind houses on the south or left side of the road. This is in the more populous or central part of the village, and not in the "outskirts." I haven't been out there in a while, but if you pass the bridge to Berkshire East Ski Area, you have gone too far. I believe it is near the little gas station (on the north or right side of the road). The sign and entrance are between a couple of houses. I bet they are not too far from the churches. Good luck.

RE: Pierce Farm Cemetery
Hezekiah Duncklee, Jr's 1793-1852 parents were Hezekiah Duncklee, Sr. 1771-1857 and
Betsey Farley 1772-1820. The area around Pierce Cemetery which was probably on their farm was known as Duncklee's Grove.

RE: Pierce Farm Cemetery
I am not personally connected to William Gersham Dunklee nor anyone else that was buried at the Pierce Cemetery. William Gersham Dunklee was born about 1846 in DuPage County, Illinois and died in October 1847 in DuPage County, Illinois. His father was Hezekiah Dunklee Jr. 1793-1890. His mother was Eliza Tucker 1811-1890.

Apparently the family goes way back and was in Massachusetts in the very early years.

Rosehill Cemetery is about a mile from my home in Chicago, Cook, Illinois.

RE: Samuel and Eva Camier Headstone
Hello Maureen,
I'm researching the Schull Camiers for my brother's wife. The only Camiers that I've found that she is related to who are buried in Schull are Samuel with his wife Mary and his mother Margaret. His father Julian died in 1931 but I haven't found his burial place yet. I was given an obit for a William Camier from Schull who died in July 1989 but I don't know if he is family or not.
Sorry, Mike

RE: Clarks in Windsorville Cemetery
No I don't see it either. If it was on there it has long since faded.

Re: Henry & Harriett Clark
I have searched for the graves of Henry & Harriett Clark in the stated plots - Blk 30 Lot 26 , but was not able to find a marker for either.
I did place a photo of the lot on their memorial Page.

Hello Again
Hello again,

May I have the memorial for Anna Marie Petersen transferred to me? I have found the correct dates and pictures as well as a biography. I visited the cemetery today and do so frequently seeing as how I live a few blocks away.

Thank you so much,

I would very much appreciate the transfer of the memorial and would be honored. I shall try my best to compile as much information on this great man as possible. Truly an inspiration.

Thank you,

Mahalo for the permission... I always ask... it is the pono (correct) thing to do.
John Sayles is the 3rd great grandfather of the 2nd wife (Alma Sheldon Anable) of my 4X great grandfather, Joseph Hubell Anable. Whew! Isnʻt this genealogy stuff fascinating? Keeps me on the computer way too long, tho.... have a great weekend!
