RE: The Subers, Henry & Barbara
Hi Brendan,
If your photos really are of the gravestones of Henry and Barbara Surber, then I would certainly like to add them to the grave pages. The only issue I have is that I have never seen their surname spelled as Suber. But it could easily be an alternative or mistaken spelling. I am sure that the correct spelling of the surname is Surber, because I have a transcription of Henry's father Jacob Surber's Revolutionary War pension file. Please send copies of the photos to this email address and I'll take a look at them:
Thanks, Teresa

I have added a higher resolution photo for Charles Barnaby's grave. When using the photo for a personal family tree, please use the following to source it: "Photo taken by member #47030153" and include a link to the page on which the photo is posted.

RE: Helen and Bertha Kirkhart
You are most welcome. I'm glad that I was able to help.

I also found that Bertha's husband was Fred W. and he is buried in Lawn Z. Helen's husband was Harold C. I found Helen & Harold in the 1923 local directory living with Fred at 416 W. Walnut, Santa Ana. There are memorials for Fred and Harold on the system.

Take care,

Helen M. Kirkhart

I just completed your photo request for Fairhaven. I did some research and believe that Bertha Kirkhart was Helen's mother-in-law. So I've also added photos to Bertha's memorial. The Lawn that they are buried in is west of Harold C. Kirkhart's burial site in Lawn T.

Hope this helps.

Take care,

Thank you; I'm glad you like the photos. If you're ever able to visit the mausoleum in person, you'll find that it's a very nice, beautifully maintained place. The stained glass windows throughout it are stunning.

Hi - please feel free to use the photos for any use you want; thanks for asking, and no need to give credit for them. Another Find-A-Grave member created Betty's memorial, and she may be willing to transfer it if you ask.

Hi Brendan, I just returned from Elliot Cemetery and could not find a grave site. The grass is three feet tall. The Galt Historical Society maintains the cemetery and they clean it once a year, so if you check back with me in the summer I will check again. Thanks Rocky

Hello. Indeed! The ocean is visible from the grave stone location (on a clear day). It is quite beautiful and peaceful from there. I truly enjoyed photographing the stone for you. Have a happy and safe new year! Duke

I'm sorry, I have not researched him. Since I'm a veteran when I go out taking pics for this group I will usually take pics of any veteran's stone as I pass them by. It's just a thing I do for them.

Hello! Thanks for the family link information for Eva and Helen MacLean. Are they related to you? If so, I'd be happy to transfer their memorials to your care. :)
