Thank for all your effort with my family! I agree how confusing it is that there are so many individuals with the same names. And my research leads me to believe that there were 2 August and 2 Minnie Kruegers living in Wisconsin at the same time. Thanks again!.......Ann

Thank you for the Civil War marker photo. 2010 I had made arrangements for this new marker. When it arrived at the Cemetery they did not seem interested in installing it. Happy to see that it has been done.

Michael and Brigitta Walter / Forest Hill
Hi. I just posted photos for Michael and Brigitta. I also added memorials for some other names on the stone. You should be aware that I took the liberty of linking Michael Jr as the son of Michael and Brigitta, based simply on the information on the marker. If you feel that's incorrect or insufficiently substantiated, feel free to remove that link (or if I need to do it, let me know). Tim

sideways deletes - Nevermind...
Yeah, so I guess I can delete the photos. Did not know that. So, nevermind my request for you to delete anything. I got it covered.

figured out the sideways fix!!!
The only thing I'll need you to do is to delete the images you see sideways in your memorials. I don't have access to delete anything, otherwise I would.
Please start with Helen L Nellie Fricke Pinter #122897715. You'll notice I added 2 more photos of the same headstone to test it out. Delete all the ones you see sideways in the rest and I'll replace them correctly at my desktop.
Sorry for the confusion, but thank you for letting me know about it! I'm basically only online using my ipad now, so I don't realize anything appears in error.

RE: Menzner Headstone Photos
Ack. Sideways? I thought that might happen. I take them with my iphone and upload them with my ipad. Sometimes they show up sideways when you view them on a desktop. But they look fine on the ipad... I'll check and see if I can correct.
I didn't find Robert yet, but I did find Menzner twins. Alexander and Matthew. 1986-1986. If you want to add them too, I can add that pic.

Thank you for fulfilling my requests. This is a very old marker. I'm glad you were able to read the name still. I'm very happy to have the pictures!

RE: Vetter Headstone Photo
Yeah, I kinda cheated. I took the photo in 2010 on a very lovely spring day. I have Vetter in my family and lifted it from my tree on ancestry. Sorry, it's not a fresh one ;)

A while ago somebody put another photo on my (this) memorial page - the new one shows the footstone without all that lichen/mossy stuff on it - would you like to delete yours or just keep it there.

Thanks
D.P.

Her obituary in the Jefferson County Union States that her remains were taken to Wausau Wi. For burial. It also says that her husband Ludwig died in 1870.

RE: Maria Fehrmann
trees on ancestry say she died 1919 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. No confirmation located. She was still using the Fehrmann name in 1910 and was in Appleton, Outagamie County, Wisconsin.
there is a Maria Fuhrmann in Merrill Memorial Park but she was the wife William August Fehrmann

Kizzie,
Again, thank you for taking the photo of my Great GRandma's sister and husband's grave. These people had a grocery/general store in Merrill. My mom liked to see her grand aunt, because they would let her have candy when she was little. LMM

Herbert & LaRue Krueger
Kizzie,
Thank-you again for taking photos for me. This is a part of my family that I know not that much about. Herbert's father was my Great Grandmother's only brother who died young. I think that is why our family didn't know about his descendants. Thanks again. LMM

Ewald and Louise Krueger
Kizzie, I know this is late...But I would like to thank you for taking their photos. Ewald is from the great grandmother's family that I didn't know. So it will help me track down relatives in the Merrill area that I don't know. Thanks again.

I added your requested photo for Lydia. You may want to move her from being buried at Nicolet Memorial Gardens to being at the Shrine of the Good Shepard. She is actually in Building G in the mausoleum (Shrine).

Maria Fehrmann
I agree the Maria Fehrmann in Merrill is not "my" Marie. Her second husband William Carl Fehrmann is there, but as they were divorced, I'm sure she is not buried with him. Perhaps she is buried with her first husband, Heinrich Friedrich M. Dettmann; they married in 1867 and he would have died between 1873 when a Dettmann son was born and 1877 when she married William Fehrmann.
No f/a/g record for her Dettmann husband. No death record for him either. Thanks again for trying!

William F. Peterman, Merrill, WI. & the Edward Kluetz family, Merrill, WI.
Thank you Kizzie for all your hard work finding a dozen Kluetz family obituaries in the Merrill Star Advocate & Merrill Daily Herald; and for adding the history of William F. Peterman. The Kluetz & Peterman families were significant in the founding of Merrill, Wisconsin. Their history and contribution to Merrill is now posted on their memorials thanks to your help and enthusiasm for findagrave.com.
