86005406 Hatcher
Dora Marsh Hatcher is my GG Aunt. She is the sister of James Edward Marsh(61847917) and the daughter of Andrew Jackson Marsh (30618818). This is my Great Grandfather and GG Grandfather, both of whom are buried at Mt Pleasant Cemetery. My question is how did you determine that Dora and Robert Hatcher are buried in this cemetery. I know the plots in the picture are surrounded with coping that indicate Hatcher, but where did you get this information from since there are no headstones.

Alexander McAlpin - Rose Hill Cemetery
Thank you for looking for Alexander McAlpin. I had not idea he would not be in the cemetery. I tried to contact the creator of the memorial to find out where she found the information that Alexander was buried there. Sadly she has passed away. I have created memorials and requested photos for the McAlpines you did find. Thanks again for your help. Kathy

RE: Memorial 100661414
It turns out that Lucille is not a relative of mine. I thought she might be at one time. Her grandfather was married three times and one of his wives is a possible relative. However, Lucille's grandmother was another wife of her grandfather.

SHERRIE, I'm related to almost all of the BRANTLEY FAMILY in MIDDLE GEORGIA on both my mom & dad's sides of the family. As a matter of fact, I discovered that my dad was descended from a HARRIS BRANTLEY about 6 generations back & my mother from his brother, JAMES BRANTLEY, about 5 generations before her time. The 2 lineages merge with the father of JAMES & HARRIS, who is JOSEPH BRANTLEY. This is the BRANTLEY FAMILY from WASHINGTON COUNTY, GA.GREEN J. BRANTLEY of my hometown-county, DUBLIN, LAURENS COUNTY, GA is also in this crowd. I went to grammar school with JOEY & BENJAMIN BRANTLEY of ROUTE 3, DUBLIN, where I grew up. All of the BRANTLEYS are descended from one person American Patriarch. He is EDWARD "the IMMIGRANT" BRANTLEY (1615 ENGLAND-1688 ISLE OF WRIGHT, VA. HE ARRIVED @ ISLE OF WIGHT, VA on a ship called, "TRANSPORT". I'd be happy to manage GREEN J. BRANTLEY'S MEMORIAL. I feel the same way you do about our ancestors who sacrificed themselves in all wars. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO TRANSFER GREEN'S MEMORIAL TO ME. THANX, MITCH

RE: Thomas Chambers
If you would please put what you do know about this Thomas J Chambers on his Memorial under Bio so he is not confused with mine. I checked records and I am not for certain but there is another T J Chambers who served with the 6th Regiment and this could be him but I didn't dig further. But if the Memorial states what information you sent me it will help others.
Again your help is muchly appreciated.

RE: Thomas Chambers
Unfortunately it must not be him. My wife's GG Grandfather was with 41st Regiment Company K out of Noxubee County Mississippi. His service records show only servings in Co K till his death. His last payout to the family was thru Co K.
Thanks for you help.

RE: Thomas Chambers
Thank you so much. The information you put so far so fits in with Thomas Jefferson Chambers. I know he was in and around Atlanta in his last battles and the date is clearly within his time frame of death. I have letters he sent to his wife and letters she wrote saying about when he died and the family went to recover the body but was refused to do so.
Your work is so appreciated.

Thanks! Rose Hill Cemetery
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to photograph and post the headstones of William McKinley Clifton and Clark A. Davis.

There was some question over Williams middle name and your photo verified it for us! That was very special.

Clark A. Davis' memorial just looked lonely with so many "unknown". I researched him and sent his info to the manager of his memorial.

RE: Eliza & William Bivins
Thank you so much for photos of our ancestor's tombstone. I was able to read all of Eliza's information and appreciate the extra effort of more than one photo. The Sara Bivins you mentioned is their daughter. It really helps to have actual pictures to confirm dates and spelling of names.

Thank you for helping us fill in the blanks.
