|Jack Parker||Civil War Vets|
I now have you in the back of my mind - so any civil war vet I see I photograph - there were some at Riverview not listed or not listed as such. Check for new memorials there.

|Jack Parker||RE: Samuel Foote Photo|
Good to know. I typically attempt to do complete cemeteries or sections thereof. Groveland recently came into view and I saw how badly it needed work, it's out of my way, but sort of on my way to work, I'll try to stop in over the next month or so. I just finished Walnut Grove in Danvers a few months ago - quite a few civil war vets there, mainly from the 2nd Mass Heavy Artillery and one other unit which escapes me at present. It is striking that the Civil war was the last war where we raised units from localities.

More of a happy accident really, there was acceptable light on the Foote plot and while I was waiting for the sun to move for the plots I was interested in... I see you have quite a few requests in that cemetery - Civi war vets? What are you up to and how can I help?

The only marker is the one posted on his memorial, no Civil War marker or indication there was one.

|Joy Kettell-Clarridge||Re: Ellis Jones #130868855|
May I copy a photo you input on Ellis Jones's Find A Grave memorial? His wife Beulah Ann Brooks Kettell Jones is my Great Grandmother. I knew she was buried at Carbon Hill but didn't have a pic for her.
Thank you for your time,
Joy Kettell Clarridge

You are welcome. Today was pretty cloudy & I didn't have my full 'kit' with me. When I'm in the area with a sunny day & my stuff, I will replace the current pic with a better one.

Sure, I'd be happy to manage Catherine's memorial. Thanks for asking and also for the transfer of Anthony's memorial. I hope to connect them both to family members.

Thank you for Rebecca's gravestone. It is in such bad shape. I am sure it won't survive many more years before the different pieces are scattered. Thank you so much for finding it and photographing it. It will now be available to future generations.
