Thank you for Ronald Knudsen's Gravestone Photo!
This is my friend's grandfather - and since today is her birthday, it will be lovely for me to share this new photo on his memorial!
Also - now I can request that the spelling of his name be corrected on his memorial!
Thanks again,Susan!

RE: Herman Shirley graves
Susan, I tried to send you a private email to the address on your page, but it came back to me as a "failure notice"; it didn't go through. :(

RE: Herman Shirley graves
I don't know much, at all, about the Farnhams; she'd be an in-law. What is the (Farnham) woman's name that is buried w/near Boyd? Herman Shirley is my great-uncle (my g-grandmother Josephine's brother). My great-grandfather, Peter Hoff, Josephine's husband, had pharmacies in your area, too: Sheldon (where they lived); I believe there was one in (or near) Enderlin; and another one, in Portland. Are you at all familiar with the Hoff drugstores that were there?

Is the pharmacy building, where Herman had his business, still standing? If so, would you be willing to take a photo of it, for me?! I'd love to have a "living" piece of my family history! I hope to one day get out there and see these places, myself; being in Wisconsin, that's quite a road-trip and would have to be carefully planned out in order to get in everything I want to see!

I am on vacation now in my RV, but as soon as I return I will look into it. I do not want to sign up, and then not be in a position to follow through. Thanks for all your help!

Another great photo, Susan, and thanks again. How does a person find out if they might be able to help others with this project?

Frank Mougey & Katie Nei in Sheldon City Cemetery, ND
Dear Susan, Yikes, I was expecting headstone pictures and I see you also uploaded people pictures! What a great surprise. Thank you so much, they are beautiful. I see you are on the Mougey side. I come in on the Nei side via Clemens. Thanks for adding Frank's occupation on the back of his picture, I added it to his page. Saw the kids AND the parents photos also. FABULOUS! Frank Sr. was very distinguished looking. Might you also consider adding the picture of the three children together to their respective pages also.
The best to you, Catherine

RE: Hello Susan...
Thankyou...and Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

I live in Canada and Thanksgiving is celebrated in October, but, I celebrate the American one.
Doesn't feel the same unless you celebrate the one where it all started over here.

I have more Cousins and ancestry, than I do anywhere, so, I feel like an American.

Plus, I am a landed Immigrant still in Canada from another country and can't even vote here, though, I've lived in the country for over 50 years.
You have to pay for Citizenship papers to vote...over $200 and the thot has never thrilled me all that much.

Now, American Citizenship - now, that would be nice.

Pray I get it some day soon.

Layna. Eat alot of turkey for

Frank and Harvey Hodge
Thank you very much for the headstone photo for Harvey B. Hodge! I was unaware that had died in North Dakota. As it turns out, he is in the same cemetery as his son Frank, who must not have a headstone. I appreciate all of your work. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
