I did find the gravestone you are looking for. I can post the memorials if you want and then transfer to you or you can and I'll add the pictures

Let me know...

Lisa

Thank you for Otto (Bud) Rook's grave marker. It is greatly appreciated. Could you check to see if Otto Sr 1873-1959 and wife Laura M Hoffman Rook 1885-1980 are also in that cemetery. I will understand if it's to much trouble. Tank you again. Janet

You are welcome. Just as a side note. Cecil Bevis' wife Gladys Gertrude (Leineke) Bevis is also interned next to him however hers is an unmarked grave with no headstone. I did confirm this with the cemetery office.

Ryland Berry Sr
I checked with Lopez Funeral Home in Neptune and Ryland was cremated and the ashes were given to the family. He is not in St Catharines Cemetery.

Re: Photo Request for Bertran Hardy 7 JAN 2013
Hello,

I've previously looked for the subject gravesite at the Angel Hill Cemetery with no luck.

Find-A-Grave has two other entries for Bertran Hardy and they show that he was interred at the Wesleyan Chapel Cemetery in Aberdeen, MD.

Photos are provided on the other entries.

Problems in San Luis Obispo
Hi,
I am a Find A Grave volunteer like you are. I am doing this to save you time and disappointment.
Sadly, there is absolutely NO cooperation from the San Luis Cemetery with Find A Grave volunteers. I was threatened with the police by the owner of the SL Cemetery, just talking to him over the phone. No volunteers have claimed a request in over 18 months. However, there has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. You can request a photo of the grave stone(s) for whom you are looking by doing the following; and they will respond promptly:

Address your email to
slocgs@gmail.com
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo

Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know. Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person. They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research. They will respond to you within a day or two.
I have checked the data base for you and found that those you are seeking DO have headstones.
They will send you the photo as an attachment to email. They took photos of the thousands of headstones they indexed in 2009 and 2010. They photographed virtually all headstones that could be deciphered. Everyone, who was buried there before 2009-2010, and who has a headstone, has a picture of their headstone in the database of the Genealogical Society. The society will respond to individuals, but prefers not to send pictures in bulk to Find A Grave volunteers. They also have not made an agreement to download their data to the Find A Grave servers.
I will ask that the request be removed, now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.
As a reference here is the website for the index. I have checked the index myself and found that a headstone exists for this person.

Hi Janet
You are the 2nd person to email me about her parents. I just added her mothers at that request and will go back to add her father.

I connected the children with their mother. I don't manage Wade or Maude's pages but I sent a message to the owners and requested they connect them.

Hi, when I went out to Snelling today to do her photo, it looked like someone had already been out there (who had not claimed the request) and dug out around her grave.

I am sorry it looks such a mess in the photos. I prefer to leave the snow pristine around the stone since it looks so nice, but unfortunately I had no choice.

John Lear Treacy 1884-1935

Mary Claire Johnson Bruce 1914-1999

Freeman R. "Bing" Bruce 1917-1966

I took photos of all of these graves. Please let me know if you would like me to email them to you.

Hi, Janet. Saw you left a request for one in Stilwell, OK. I go there often. However, there is already a photo on her memorial. Were you wanting a better picture than the current one, or maybe one that has her date of death, or what? Just wanted to check before I claimed it. TNX
