It was not trouble at all. We are sorry that it took so long. The family is better and getting stronger everyday. There is no charge for what I have done, I am honored that I was able to locate him for you. I am actually going to the cemetery tomorrow afternoon, I know that there was memorial for him on Find A Grave is it still there? If so, can you provide the memorial number so that I can add the photo for you. Thanks for your patience and for providing such excellent information. Donna

Hi James, This is Vern's wife Donna, I have some info to pass on to you regarding Grady. First I must apologize for the delay in our response to you. Family upsets and long hours have taken up most of our time the last few months. Anyway, back to Grady, I was at East View Cemetery this morning talking to Stan, the cemetery manager, I showed him the info that you had sent to Vern on/about April 17th. He found Grady in one of the older books that has his birth date 7-29-1911 and death date as 12-26-1944 and that he is at Shadyside Cemetery in Rome. I will go there on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, if weather stays clear, and take photos for you. I will let you know when they are posted.
Have a wonderful day. Donna Harris, Find A Grave Volunteer.

James, just a quick note to let you know that I am still trying to find some info for you. I went to the library the other day to see if I could find the obituary in the newspaper. No luck, would you happen to know the date that he would have arrived in Rome? I will keep you posted. Vern

Thanks for the information for Grady. I have been out of town for Easter and just got back a little bit ago. Let me print out the info you gave me and I will take it to the cemetery office on Tuesday and see if they can find anything with your info.

Hi James, I am trying to find the burial location for Grady. Do you have any other information about him that might help me find him? i.e. Date of death, Section & Lot number that he is buried in. There is no record of him being buried at East View on the cemetery website. If you can give me more info then maybe cemetery office can help me locate where he is buried at. Thanks. Donna Harris

Albert Scott
I will check with the church office to see if there are any records for Albert. Is this the correct name for his wife?

James, I was able to find Albert Scott. Do you know if his wife is still living? Louise, b. June 19,1916. Let me know and I will post his or their photos. At the same time please make a request for the photo on F. A. G. and I will claim it.
