RE: Mary Hays Beatty
I am thrilled to have found it for you!!! I know what it feels like. Plus, my mother's family is connected to the Beatty family, through Elizabeth Pyle Jones (b. 1909 Youngstown, OH, d. 1987 Westfall Township, PA), who married David Percy Beatty (b. 1907 Crafton, Allegheny, PA, d. 1989 Cape Coral, Lee County, FL; son of Percy D. & Margaret Kenning Beatty). My mother was 2nd cousin to Elizabeth Pyle Jones.

I snap photos of every Beatty headstone I find.

Hi! Let me know if I added the correct father. I also added his mother. From what I could gather: when Emma's mother died in 1925, she was using her maiden name. When her brother died in 1936, she was Emma Johnson. In both the 1930 & 1940 Census, she's living with her sister Elsie's family with her maiden name. When sister Elsie died in 1979, she's back to her maiden name.

Thinkin' about Lincoln
RE: Oak Hill Cemetery burials
This should help you out nicely; the database doesn't work as smoothly as others might, but you get the plot info. There's also a database for Locust Hill too. --bob

Correction Request
Rats - I accidentally deleted the post you made to my member page about the correction you wanted made. It would be a big help if you can go to the page you want the additions made and sent me a correction through the "edit" tab on that memorial - that way I can't loose it again, and I have all the necessary information right there. Thanks.

I transferred his memorial to you after I added your updates. I enter raw data only, people like you bring them back to their families.

Hi Norma,

Updated but I also transferred him to you. I'm getting on average 25 emails a day from Find A Grave plus messages plus other emails. But I'm still finding time to go out and get marker pictures, went to a local cemetery two weeks ago and took a little over 400 marker photos. So I'm keeping busy!

Hi Norma,
I transferred Myrla and James to
you. I am a little confused with some of the relationhips and figured you would have more information than I would. Enjoy.

RE: Beatty corrections
Appreciate your response. If you would like, I could take over management of my Beatty family and update their information for you since they are my 6th Gen. direct line and relieve you of the updating.

Let me know.

RE: Parents
Send me the names of any Redmans you want me to transfer to you. There is no rush, so as you do your research and you feel comfortable about taking care of a memorial, let me know. Mary

RE: Parents
I will transfer the Redman memorials to you later this morning. I am happy to do it since you are related and I am not. Keep up the good work, Mary

RE: Parents
No, I am not related to the Redmans. I added their graves to findagrave after I had copied a few pages from the cemetery book at the library in Mount Vernon. Their grave information was on the page that contained some of my ancestors. If you don't want their memorials, you can transfer them back to me. It is up to you. If you decide to keep them, I will transfer Archie to you. Mary
