Photos and Memorials
I just want to thank you for all the massive efforts you have given to documenting the grave sites and cemeteries of Polk and Burnett counties. As I go through I have noted all those that previously had nothing. You are an angel! God bless you for all your time and effort and I for one would like to thank you for all your time and activity. Hugs!

RE: re: Find A Grave Correction: John Hanson
I am just trying to correct some of the information for John L Hanson. John and his first wife Ane Dorthea Hanson were my great grandparents. Their son Fred Hansen was my father John L Hansen's father. John L (the first one) and Ane had 3 sons Frederick Peter, Andrew Christian, and Henry S. Henry was born 01 Feb 1871 in Portage, Columbia, Wis. and passed away 30 Apr 1958 in Altadena, Los Angeles, Calif. I would do it all myself if I knew how to. Any suggestions? I hope this is not inconvenient for you. Thank you for your response.

Marlys Petersen
I made some suggestions for changes to this record. Marlys was my mothers sister who died at age 3. So the date of death should be 1930 not 1980. I can see that the stone is hard to read.

her Father was 90033762 Peter S
her mother was 90033962 Marion

thank you for updating this information

Rose & George Thill
You took a picture of the stone for Rose & George Thill and posted it to Rose Thill's memorial 38514622. It really helps to show the dates, which I just added to her memorial. It would be nice if you added it to George's Find A Grave memorial also. The other picture is just too far away to see what it says. It isn't my family, so it is up to you. Appreciate your work!!

Amanda M or A M Olson
If it was some other name, I would say it's an obvious duplicate. But there are so many Olsons in that cemetery that it is just possible that there were two people with the same initials who were born and died in the same years.

Olive Miller is my gr grandmother, I have posted a picture and provided some info for dates and relationships. Hope that is useful, I do so appreciate your entering so much data from the Wolf Creek Cemetery.

Peterson Photo
I am so thrilled and grateful for the photo you have taken for me, I can't put it into words. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Now I know the names are all on one stone, when I have been wondering for 10 years if I was correct in assuming they were related to each other. Also now there is no doubt that P.J.'s death year is correct, I can see it carved in stone! Thank you so very much and God bless you.

Opal Parel is my great-aunt. Elmer is her husband and David is her son. If this memorial has no special meaning to you, would you mind transferring it to me? If someone closer to the family asks me for control, I certainly would give it, but right now I think I'm the closest.

Thank you. (By the way, I'm still looking for Elmer ("Butch"). If you have him, I'd like him, too.)

RE: re: Riverside in Grantsburg
Hi Sue,
At this point, it was just a one time visit to the cemetery and a few pictures taken. No plans to do more photo's there. Good luck in your endeavor, it is a very large cemetery, and so beautiful.

RE: re: Riverside in Grantsburg
That sounds like a good plan. I also ran into the same thing. There were at least 20 uploaded in the middle of the ones I had taken. A plan would be good. Debra

There was a Gordon Trolander listed, too, whose dates matched Wesley's, so I deleted it. Thanks for the corrections.

That stinks, you would think that once someone claim they would give a couple of weeks before they step in.

RE: re: Rydlewski photos
Oh, you're very welcome, I really enjoy doing it! It's funny, because that cemetery is an old, Catholic cemetery, and the early burials are sort of laid out in not much of an organized fashion, and the stones face in all directions. The row numbers are more of a suggestion instead of an exact location, lol. I had walked around and around the area, and found most of the other stones I was looking for, but these two eluded me. I had pretty much given up, but then I turned around to go to another location and there they were, right in front of me. If you have any other requests from this area, let me know, I will be happy to get those photos, too!
