RE: Leroy Eisenbise
You're welcome. Hopefully something will be done about this problem: Vets with no headstones. I talked to one of the memorial counselors and she wants the volunteers to compile a list of all the vets that don't have one, and she will see what can me done. The VA provides the stones, but the family is supposed to pay the cemetery a hefty setting fee. If everything goes as planned, the cemetery may waive the setting fee, in particular for the KIAs who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

You are welcome. I walked and photographed the whole cemetery quite awhile ago. I just have not had the time to put them all on yet. Let me know if there are any others in my area and I will try to do them first. I hope you enjoy the new week.

Jane Eisenbise # 72026273
Thank you for your suggestion regarding a link to husband George. Based on the number of Eisenbise memorials that you have, I figure that you must know the family. :-)

If you happen to have any more information on Jane and/or George, I would be happy to add it to her biographical sketch.

Thanks again.
Best wishes.

I have made the transfer, I also noticed that I entered a couple other people with the same last name. Are you related to then as well? If so I can transfer those too. I am not related in anyway, I only took the photo and recorded them for their families to find. Please use the edit tab if you would like for me to transfer, it is the easiest. Happy hunting

Antonin J Vacek
White Lonni / Ollie
I went up yesterday and walked around the cemetery. I found two other White graves but could not find these two child graves. I searched around the older part of the cemetery to no avail. There were several small broken stones but there was no engravings left. Any idea where they might be at?

George & Emma Allen
Just claimed your photo request at GGNC. George I can do but Emma is not here. The VA and Find A Grave only has one Emma and she is the spouse of David L. Allen.
I was there today and a worker said that as of now they expect to close down sometime next week.~rp

Wallis at Oakridge Cemetery
When I was taking the photo of Mary Ruth Wallis at Oakridge Cemetery. I found a few more Wallis right next to her headstone so I made memorials for them and transferred them to you--- Charles G Wallis, Ronald D Wallis, Karl Wallis (who does not have a headstone only a marker)and I also added a pic of Geneva Wallis headstone and added to memorial.

Warren Jennings
Hi David - I had claimed the photo request for Warren Jennings at Somerset Memorial Park and forgot to write you after I visited there to do the photos. I don't see a photo request up for him anymore for me to report a problem, but I wanted to let you know what the office told me. They have record of his being cremated at their facility but do not have an interment record of him being in the cemetery or mausoleum there. They believe his ashes were returned to the funeral home and given to family. Hope that helps.

The photo that i took was in Sabetha Cemetery. The two cemeteries are different. I have never been to the other cemetery. I was there a few years ago and took pics while i was at the laundry mat accross the street.

Kim Self Hughes
RE: Marea Suddeth & Minnie Hambrick
When I saw your request, I wondered if Minnie had any connection to a Will Hambrick? My husband's great-grandmother was Florence Alabama Wright who married a Will Hambrick (who apparently died abt. 1897) and then she married William Elliott. She had 3 children by Will Hambrick - Lillie, Ed, and Charlie.

Glad I had the photos to share. I checked to see if there was an obituary for Minnie in the Birmingham papers, but I didn't see one listed in the index.

You are very welcome...I enjoy doing anything that helps to remember and honor our Veterans.

I understand how you feel about "another piece of the puzzle" that is what makes Geneology so fun and so frustrating at the same time.

Good luck in your search.
