|Clara Hill Hickey||Helen Corinne Berg Lodge|
Helen was my best friend in high school in Chicago, and for many years after. I lost touch with her; when I attempted to find her in Las Vegas (the last place I knew she lived), I found through you that she had passed away. I thank you for this information; otherwise I would never have known. As sad as this makes me, I am glad that at least I know.
She had two other children while married to Jim Kilgore: Barbara - the eldest; Karen (whom Helen had told me had passed away); and her son, Jimmy Kilgore. I surmise she was living with her son at the time of her death.
Can you tell me how you came about her wedding picture and the very young Jim Kilgore, to whom she married in 1948.

|Billie Sorrels||Simeon Crockett|
Simeon Crockett is my great, great grandfather on my mother's side. Would you be willing to email me a copy of the obituary that you have posted? I cannot get it to print correctly and I have been searching for my great grandfather's parents for a long time with no information except the name on the census records which was spelled many different ways. Thank you so very much for posting this!! God Bless.

|Sara Bolster Smith||Erasmus Ward Hall|
Thank you so much for contributing the newspaper articles regarding the accident and ensuing death of Erasmus Ward Hall. Fascinating...I had no idea! Are you by chance related? I read in your profile that you have an interest in old newspaper articles so maybe you just happened upon them, but then again, I swear I see a family resemblance!

|Jim Cassidy||Thank you for the information|
Fred, I have checked the Find a Grave sight a number of times regarding my Great Grandfather James Cassidy (yes also my name). How did you come by the death notice/obit you posted? It is a valuable piece of information and I wanted to say thank you and ask where you obtained it. Posibly from the Aurora Beacon News archives?

|Tom Schoening||Effie Sterling Merritt-Bardine|
Fred: This is my grandmother's sister that I mentioned before. Have posted her to the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery and her Find A Grave Id is 95844664 - Now from what My Mother and Father told me the name was Berdine. Illinois records show it as Bardine. One of them is right - the Pennsylvania Twang sometimes let vowels be interchanged - thus how a name was pronounced and spelled could be two different things. Just wanted to point this out - just in case.

Fred - I wanted to say thanks for linking Mahala Merritt-Jamie. Currently I am doing research on the Merritt Family and I have reason to believe that my Grandmother's Sister is also interred in this same Cemetery - She was close to Mahala. When I can make that conclusion, I will get back to You.
BTW - Great work on the Photo's - Your work is right at the Very Top. Wish other's would pay as much attention to detail as You do.
Again Thanks - Tom Schoening
