RE: John Barry
Per your 9/28/13 post, yes, please send me the map the cemetery sent to you if it is different than the map posted to the St. Patrick's Cemetery page. (Either post it to the memorial page or email it to me.) If he is in the newer part of the cemetery, I need to know what SECTION "Row Plot 139" is in. As you can see, the sections are lettered. If he is in the older part, I guess I need a RANGE. There is an area labeled "Singles" but it only shows "1-11". This is confusing. I'll await more info from you. This is a large cemetery.

RE: John Barry
Here is a copy of a message I received from the Albany Diocese, which manages St. Patrick's cemetery, when I requested other grave locations in the past. If you decide to go this route, just let me know when you get the info and I'll be glad to try to get the photo for you. I live about 1/2 mile from the cemetery. Lucy

"We do not have maps broken down by section and lot number that we can share with the public because they are too large. Family members looking for a grave may fill out the genealogy request form they can download from our website: CapitalDistrictCemeteries.org. We will copy the lot card(s) and note the location of the grave on our main map. We do charge a copy fee and require a self-addressed stamped envelope. Once they have that information they can contact a Find a Grave Volunteer and give it to them."

If you can provide a section number or some other direction to the gravesite, I'd be happy to take a photo for you.

RE: Lyman Rysedorph Request
No problem, I'll try to go over there tomorow if it isnt raining. I think the weather here in NY is supposed to be really horrible for the next three days. I will also see who is next to their plot, maybe they are somehow related to you.

Lyman Rysedorph Request
You have a photo request for his marker in the New Mt Ida Cemetery, but unfortunately it does not look like he, or his family that were buried in that section ever got a stone. I have been doing a lot of volunteer work back in this cemetery and have an old map with the road names and plots. Where he is supposed to be buried is empty with no stones at all. I can get a photo of the general area of his plot and post that for your photo request if you would like. I did photograph a Rysedorph stone and added it on here, but that is not near them, it is more towards the back of the cemetery. Let me know if you would like me to just post a photo of the area where he is buried.
