Seth or Bridget Rogers
Hi,
I looked in all the books for Rogers and found quite a few buried in the town of Summit cemetery , St Tresa Avila Cemetery in Union Center, Wisconsin.
There is a Bridget there, with birthdates of 9-4-1871 and death of 9-19-1916.
She is listed next to and likely buried with Charles Rogers 10-15-1858 and 5-16-1937.
Otherwise there are Phillip, Catherine Rogers natives of ireland. children Alvida, Sarah, Mary, George, and others..John Joan, Lee Patrick Gladis, Patrick, Edward J.,Theresa. If you want more on any of them, email me, I am going to see if they are on Find A Grave and put them on if not.

Sharon, I went to Candor Vital Records today. The old book is not the right time frame. Sorry that I can't confirm her maiden name or parents.

RE: Siblings
Hi Sharon, I haven't been out to the cemetery in awhile, but next time, I can check. The index has the dates that are on the memorials. They might have been relatives who lost parents so they took them in. Mary

RE: Deloy Family photograph
Hi Sharon - are you Twila's daughter? I communicated with her a great deal before she passed away, and she even stopped to visit me in Fullerton. She had a lady with her who may have been her sister. Twila was such a pretty gal.

Contact me via email at kayhaworth@earthlink.net and I will send you the Deloye photo. It is very nice. My great-grandmother was Elfie Nellie DeLoye, daughter of Melinda and Joseph.

Cheers,
Kay

Emily M. Crane Question
Your question:
# 82445278
Hi,
Any idea if this Emily is the daughter of David and Catherine Moon? His number is # 51708694. Thanks, Sharon

My answer:
I suppose it is possible; however I do not see any connection to Tioga Co. The dates fit, the married name Crane matches referenced memorial, the first name varies. But that really doesn't matter. There is one old book down at Candor Vital Records in which she may be listed. I will check to see when I go next. Daryl

MOON
Good evening Sharon;
I wish I did have that information to give you.
There is supposed to be a book out but I cannot find it yet.
Also some of the MOONS' were adopted, Quakers/Friends religion, and they were Indians. Which at that time was a "do not put on census records"cause you could be sent to a reservation.
Sad situation all around. Will keep hunting.

Sharon,

Harold James has been added; did you know him- or of him, or did you just now track him down? Is he alive? He'd be a year younger than my dad who hits 90 in July.

Thanks!

Sharon, Thanks for letting me know she had been located and a photo of her grave posted. I had an existing memorial for her with place of burial unknown and all the other links established so Mr. Gay added his photo to my page and deleted his and I added the cemetery location to mine.

Great headstone with the husband's name- can't get better that that!

Sharon,

Massachusetts vital records are available online at FamilySearch.org

A search on the site found both the birth record and death certificate of John, both which identify his mother as Bridget O'Neil. Below are the links to the transcription pages and you can access teh images from those pages.

Anne Cady
RE: Effy Clapper Rhodes
Since I didn't write it in my notebook (which I do if it has any family or historical information), it was one of the many common poetic inscriptions that were used around then. I can't tell which it was, but 95% of the time its one of about 12 standard ones that were used by the stone carvers in the area. When I started I wrote them all down, but once I found it was the same ones over and over again, I stopped documenting them as there wasn't historical value in them (to me).

Hi Sharon,

I transferred Ida Mae, her husband John and Relville to your care, sounds like you're continuing your research on your family and I think they are best in your hands.

Please keep me updated on any Moon family items you dig up!
