|Sharon Lavash Hawkins||RE: John Goldy in Cambridge Cemetery|
You're very welcome - I just wish that I'd been able to find his stone for you! This cemetery has a lot of missing, broken or faded stones - probably due to the weather conditions, age, stone types, maintenance, etc. It's not unusual for this to be the case unfortunately.

It just so happens that I plan to go to Penang in April and revisit the cemetery. I'll try to retake the grave photo.

I corrected my entry for Mary and added a little more information. Are you related to her? She is my great great great grandmother.

Thank you very much for the photo of Ralph's gravestone. Would you consider transferring his wife Irene to me? She is actually my relative. I was hoping she was buried with Ralph but wasn't sure. My contributor number is 47894434 and her memorial is 137709934 if you are willing to transfer. Thank you again for your time and help.

I actually have a few photos taken years ago by my cousins - as the CORYELL family buried here, in particular Abraham who is my ggggrandfather, belong to me!! So, now, I am seeking the other lines...Holcombes...and I do know just how small this cemetery is. I wish I had gotten my cousins to see if there was a transcript of all the burials in the Church records...but...back then I didnt know that much. My cousins live in Florida near me, and were travelling to NJ when they took the photos. The Church was under construction and huge scaffolding's were all around it - Your pictures are very nice and clear and I DOOOO appreciate your help!
Scott Baylor added the Augustus one, described where it was located....wonder why he didnt add the pic?? I will email him direct and perhaps he has a photo still in his files.

You are just SUPER!! thanks so much for the help!! If the church can verify who Augustus is, I believe HOLCOMBE, that would be soooo terrific! Keep up the great work and yes, I love the new pic!! Donna

Wall side NW along Church Wall 2 Walls Wall Row - this was the description of the location of this stone...I am thinking its one just leaning against the wall with others that were "removed"...Did you look there too??? I think this is Augustus HOLCOMBE but without the pic, I am stuck....
I know you try hard Megan - dont worry - but one question. Is there someone in the church or cemetery that has a "list" - perhaps I can call or check with them?? Perhaps if you are out there another time they may have a location?? Donna

No this photo was for another memorial - but what I think is that this memorial is in error completely and the entire memorial should be removed...IF there were 2 photos of 2 Marys with diff dates, then this memorial is accurate....but I think the party who set it up was incorrect....thanks Megan and dont give up!! We who live out of state appreciate your efforts - and YES this cemetery is a mess!! DOnna

Thanks so much for the picture!
In the picture, can you point out which headstone is James P, and what is the name and dates of the headstone on the left of the picture.

Megan - thanks for the photo but this memorial for MARY HALCOMBE 1841-1857 is in error - your photo is for Mary QUICK Holcombe 1790-1837 and is Find A Grave Memorial# 51770265...I would ask you to delete the pic and place on the other memorial - I have asked this party to delete this one in error - thanks!! Thanks Megan, you're the first I found who fairly recently posted photos on memorials there. My photo requests seem to have just sat there quite a while. It would be so great if you can find the stones!. Thanks very much!

|genieresearcher||Warners at Buckingham Friends Cem|
Hi Megan, I just noticed you posted a memorial and headstone photo at Buckingham Friends. Do you go to that cemetery often and do you know if there is a list of burials with locations perhaps. I don't live in PA or NJ and had submitted photo requests for Mordecai/Mordica and Jane Lewis Warner memorials some time ago. Should you ever go back to that cemetery (when no snow storm of course!) would you mind taking a look to see if you can find them? Their Warner descendants would surely love to see gravestones. thanks so much!

It was my mistake. Please see Find A Grave # 18800289, from Williams History of Washington County, page 660a.
Do you have a copy? I could send the page, if you will give me your e-mail address.
