RE: Martha Royse
My Royse relatives; Carrie Straw Coffin married Rev Clarence D Royse. All their children;Julia A Royse, Charles Harold Royse, Walter Branham Royse, Joseph Baker Royse, Mary Royse and all their descendants. Her parents; Zeno Worth Coffin and Mary B Straw. The Coffin's and the Worth's intermarried several times over the generations. The Coffins, Gardners, Worth's, and several other family names intermarried. I guess back in those days, if you didn't travel much, you never met anybody new except your neighbors and relatives. Many of them belonged to the "Society of Friends", which is how they met (church). They had to have the churches' blessing just to date someone.

Headstone Photo
Barbara,
Thank you for the photo of the headstone. Dorothy M "Dot" (Cline) Wilson 1922-2000 & Gerard Andrew Wilson, Jr. 1926-2001.
So fast and greatly appreciated.
It helped to document her spouse which I wasn't sure of.

Lucinda Johnson Payton's mother
Is her mother Mary A. Collings Johnson Memorial# 72581639? She was probably married prior to Lucinda's father to a Collings. However, another contributor has her memorial.
