RE: Charles and Leola Engle
Hi Linda,

So Nice to meet you! Yes, my paternal grandparents are Charles Joseph Engle Sr. and Leola Ruth (Lemen) Engle. My father is Charles Joseph Engle Jr.

I was living in Florida since 1989 and moved back to St. Louis in 2011 after the sudden death of my Mom on September 21, 2010. I was Blessed to be able to have almost 2 years with my Dad before he passed away on November 22, 2012.

My Dad and your husband are First cousins so that would make He and I second cousins.

When we would get together for family reunions in the summer, he would always ask if anyone knew what happened to the Wilde's. He thought of you all often!

Thank you for all the research that you have done on the Engle side of the family. I have only recently started my genealogy research and found all your work very helpful. I was fascinated to find my Great-Great Grandfather Charles Virgil Engle fought with the Union Army in the civil war. He and my Great-Great Grandmother Sarah are buried in JB cemetery very near my home in South County.

I have found that some of the information gets a bit conflicting beyond that. For instance, the birthplace of Charles Virgil Engle and the birth year and maiden name of his wife Sarah. One source list Meadows and her death certificate list her maiden name as Nettles. On his death certificate, her birth year was listed as 1861 yet on hers, it is 1864.

He was quite a bit older than her so they may have fudged hers originally to make her of legal age, not sure.

Yesterday, I visited my grandparents grave in Resurrection cemetery which is how I obtained the photo.

At any rate, I would be happy to share any information that I find. I'm not sure what transferring involves but I would be delighted to update their information.

My grandparents middle child, Ruth (Engle) Niedbalski is still living but is in fair health. My Uncle Ralph, their youngest child passed away when I was in 8th grade. My Dad was the oldest.

Occasionally, I see Kevin, Ginny, Tim, Sandy and Vicki Engle, also all my 2nd cousins. I think that Kevin's wife Helen has done some research so I'm anxious to collaborate with her.

I wish you much love and happiness!

All the Best,
Bob

Hi Linda! I am interested in knowing what you have on the Hudson/Hutson family tree. Is it the line related to the Spaldings? Or the ones from Hickman Co.? Thanks!

I made a memorial today for my Aunt Pat (Mary Patricia Ellegood) and when I went back to view it, I found your memorial. I have deleted mine and sent a suggestion that links both of her parents to her. Thanks!

Bone Family at Pacific Crest
Hello!

We have claimed your requests at Pacific Crest, and will probably fulfill them in the next few days....
According to cemetery records Myrtie Bone died on May 29th 1938, however the ashes were kept in an urn until July 11th 1966 when they were placed. He was also placed in 1971. I am going to add this info and their plot locations in just a moment as an edit...

If you have any other relatives who might be buried here, I can look at the records and see. (There are several Bones the right age to be their children)

The Bones are in an Outdoor Mausoleum.

Thanks very much!

Von Dach
Thank you Linda for the addition of Nickname Noni to Iona Von Dach Fischer. What I learned from Wikipedia about Germany vs France is it deoended which war was in place at the time. In this line's case Germany was in place in 1858 however I had seen the name Fambaugh and wondered who that would be. It is such a pleasure to communicate with others, you in particular. I thank you. I have requested a photo be added to Iona's profile. I would like to connect her to her parents and siblings. I dont remember where I go to do that. Thank you again, Sue K

Thank you, Linda. Yes, I have the Guptons in my tree. There is only one of them that I remember at all. Maybe you can help me figure out which one it was.
When I was a very young girl there was a Doc Gupton who was a chiropractor. I believe he practiced in Calvert City with his office on Hwy 62. The only name I ever knew was Doc. Can you tell me who this was.
I always thought he was my Dad's cousin, but evidently it was my Mom, Mary, that he was related to.
I always had great respect for him, but do I do not remember seeing him after I was about 7 or 8. I believe I do remember him and his wife giving me a baby doll.

Re: J. D. Harris
Hello
I have a question. I am trying to obtain information regarding my family members buried at the Harris family grave site. JD Harris was my grandfather. I was at the graveyard the day he was buried. My father was his son who is not listed. here. I am also on ancestery.com trying to link back to these members as well so the information here would be of great assistance to me to be able to find the link to my heritage. My faterr was Billy Wayne Harris born 12/8/1936 and passed on 08/17/1995. He is not buried in the Harris cemetary. Can you tell me how we are related? can you offer assistance? thank you

Merrit Brown
Linda,
I noticed you have Merrit Brown in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay Ky. According to his wife's obit he should be in the one in Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky. If you would change his cemetery location I would appreciate it very much. I am putting Ambie in at Odd Fellows in Madisonville. Feel free to link them if you would like to. I have added their daughter who was laid to rest today and want to link her to both parents. Thank you for all of your help with Find A Grave.
