|David Douglass||Rufus Severence|
Hi all, Rufus Severance is my 5th great grandfather. So happy to see so much of the information you have all offered. I live very close to Hollis and Cornish Maine.

The Knight's Burial Ground that you have identified is the same as Knight Cemetery #3 in Cumberland County, Maine. I have been there and have taken other photos. If you delete your memorial & your photo request for Elijah in Knight's Burial Ground and re-submit it in Knight Cemetery #3, I will try to find the marker among the badly overgrown cemetery.

I have been unable to find a Knight's Burial Ground in Westbrook. If you can find where it is, I will be glad to take a photo.

I will try to get there this weekend if the weather is nice. Days are getting shorter to go up after work.

Could you add a note to the memorial for Rufus Severance 115928685 stating that it is probable that Rufus and his wife Martha Flagg are buried in East Washington Cemetery however no burial record or gravestone have been located yet.

|Joan Ellis Pulis||Martha Flagg Severance's death date|
You have listed Martha's death date as 1790.
In my records I have 14 children born to Rufus and Martha Flagg Severance.
Sally b. 12 Mar 1786
Rufus Jr. b. 29 Nov 1788
Joseph b. 19 Sep 1790
Ephraim b. 19 April 1792
Abigail b. 16 April 1794
Abel b. 15 Mar 1796
Abijah b. 15 April 1798 (twin)
Joel b. 15 April 1798 (twin)
Martha b. 10 July 1799
Mary b. 11 June 1801
Emilla b. 9 Sep 1805 (my ggg grandmother)
Asa b. 3 Feb 1810 (twin)
Rebecca b. 3 Feb 1810 (twin)
Elzina, bd. unknown
Unless Rufus married another woman I don't think Martha Flagg Severance died in 1790.

|Joan Ellis Pulis||Martha Flagg|
According to my records Martha Flagg was the daughter of Capt. Jonas and Martha Knight Flagg according to the History of the town of Hollis, New Hampshire, born 3 Feb 1760.
Could you provide documentation for her father being Nathaiel Flagg. Thanks.

Rufus Severance and Martha Flagg are my ggg grandparents. Could you please provide documentation that Rufus Severance is buried in the East Washington Cemetery. He is not listed in the Cemetery Records I have found. I would prefer not to link to an erroneous record so documentation would help. Thanks.

I would be more than happy to transfer this memorial to you if you would like it. I added what you submitted.

|Cynthia Dunigan||RE: Clarendon Cemetery - Severance Headstones|
I was back in this cemetery today and still did not find Polly Severance. Unfortunately this cemetery is falling into disrepair, trees have fallen down and knocked over a number of headstones. I will look again when I get back there.

|lois michaud||wentworth line|
yes i know about both line because i'm related to both lines. the ones here in acton are my 3rd g. grandparents ephraim and martha(brackett) wentworth and the other one you are refering to i believe are mary and martha they were sister and they married brothers ephraim and john. and yes there is a grant family member there too.
i'm also related the that line . i have more lines leading to my self then most. it took years to get them straight and i still question everything and i use alot of guides and don't take too much personally right or wrong.
it's lots of fun and i really enjoy doing the genealogy until my head hurts or spins to much. then i have to stop. i have at lest three direct lines that lead me to wentworth family. so that is how that works.
feel free to contact me any time. i'll do what i can for you but these are my facts about my lines that i know. after that you could be on your own. but have fun w/ it more then anything, i have learnt who i am if nothing more.

You wrote: "I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave FOR MOSES ORDWAY d. 1803
Details: Ordways I did find were:
Moses Ordway died 2/17/1836 age 88
Moses Ordway Father
One fo the first E 88 "
Did you create a memorial and take a photo of the Moses Ordway Father grave? If so, which one is it? would like to see that one as it may be my Moses d. 1803. Or is it the one b. 1747 d. 1836 married to Persis?

Thanks so much for trying to find my Moses Ordway and especially for going the extra mile and documenting the other Ordways. I'm still trying to sort them out so it really helps to have those photographs.

I do see your point but I am not the person who created the above memorial at Mt Zion cem. If you want it deleted then contact the person who created it. If he/she does not respond then contact F.A.G management and request a deletion.
Good luck to you and Happy Holidays!!

That cemetery is quite small and that was the only Severance. I have seen others in other cemeteries nearby, so I will keep an eye open.

I also requested the transfer of the Severance memorials in the Pleasant Street Cemetery yesterday. He transferred some of them to me but not all. I would like to finish entering data and links but cannot do so until he transfers them.
Perhaps I can enter the data I have and then transfer them to you and you can add information I have missed.

|Joan Ellis Pulis||Joseph Severance|
Joseph Severance was not buried in the Pleasant Street Cemetery. He was buried in the Broad Street Cemetery in Claremont and there is already a memorial made for him in that cemetery. We should delete his entry in the Pleasant St. Cemetery. I cannot do that since you created it. You will need to do that. Thanks.

Hi Randy, I would like you to check out the Severance family in the Broad Street Cemetery in Clarmont. Arnie and I had taken pictures of both Emily's An infant son, and Nathan. I noticed they had the same dates as the one you requested in the Pleasant St. Cemetery. Please let me know if you think these are the people you are looking for.
