I know what you mean. I am thinking that one had to do with where Rev was inserted. No problem. There are a lot of duplications in Maplewood.

Evening Tribune (San Diego, CA) - Saturday, June 18, 1988

Deceased Name: James C. Pence

Memorial services for James C. Pence, 57, of Chula Vista, were today in Greenwood Mortuary. Cremation was planned, with burial of ashes in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. He died June 11 in a hospital. Mr. Pence was born in Illinois, lived in the county 25 years and was a Rohr Industries machinist and a self-employed painter. He served in the Navy from 1949 to 1953.
Survivors include his wife, Cathlene; a son, James of Santee; six daughters, Linda Benning of Tierrasanta, Connie Paris of Oxnard and Deana Peters, Jennifer, Jessica and Cyndi, all of Chula Vista; two brothers, John of Chula Vista and J.C. "Pete" of Arkansas; and eight grandchildren.
