Hello Sherry,

Thank you for the correction on Peter's birth year. But, I'm sorry I don't have any other information on Peter as he is a 2nd cousin, 3 times removed, for me and that puts him a little out there. Although it's possible there may be something wrong with Arvilla's death record, she and Peter are on the same tombstone, so most likely they were married. It is possible she was married to James S. Coleman first and then later on married Peter. Or maybe she just wanted to be buried with her first husband. It is all very interesting.

Hi, thank you for the correction! I don't mind corrections at all. Any time that someone knows something I gladly welcome the opportunity to change or transfer the memorial. I haven't been to the Pond Run Cemetery for awhile now. Maybe next month when I go for the family reunion.

Hi Sherry,

I appreciate your suggestion regarding the death certificate of Mary Lacefield (d. 1953), but it looks to me like this death certificate is for a different lady. Not only are the deaths date different, but so is the cemetery, as well as her parent's names and her middle name. Oh well ... thanks anyway! :)

Thank you for letting me know about my mistake on John Corley's year of his death on his memorial. Don't know how I could have made the mistake when I am the one who photographed his grave marker, but we all sometimes make mistakes.

John Corley is the Father of my Paternal Grandfather's Mother. All the information I have on John is listed on his memorial and you may include that information in your research if you would like.
