Ruth Davis
Sir Henry Lucas
My grandmother's name was Minnie Lee Lucas Wagner whose father was Sir Henry Lucas. Several of her siblings are listed as children of Samuel Henry "Sir Henry" Lucas but they are shown as calculated. Would appreciate any info you may have re this family.

RE: Sarah Larkin
Hope the directions paid off.
Before I posted them I sent someone to locate the
Marker and they found it, an attempt to test it first,
And it's hard to see being flat.
Glad I could help.
Gone, James Coston

Dr. Larkin
Hello Mark-
Dr. Rufus King Larkin is my great, great, great grandfather on my grand daddy's side. I see that he is from Alabama, do you know a specific location? I have found a Larkinsville, AL and its founder but am unsure if this is Dr. Larkin's kin folk.

Also, do you know why Dr. Larkin was buried in LA and his wife in Hubbard, TX?!?

Thank you for your contributions to this site!

RE: Milner Family
I could take the pictures to Ellis Barker who is in a VA Home in Tyler. He can help identify them.
If you can send me an email we could exchange some data.

French Ancestors
Thanks for the quick response. My mom lives outside of Tyler also.
The info I have on Joe French married to Frances Gimble is he is the son of Stiles Arthur French. Arthur's father was Joseph Hilliard French and he is the brother of James Washington. Hilliard and his clan stayed in and around Morris Co TX while James W moved on and settled in Cherokee Co TX.
I was able to download the picture of Fannie & Lee McFadden and it printed out okay. Love it when I can find these kind of surprises. Thanks for posting that picture.
Be glad to share any info I have on my families.

Fannie Treadaway
Mark, interested in the picture you have posted on Fannie Treadaway memorial page. Is she with Johnsie Ball and Lee McFadden in the picture? I am related thru her sister Nancy Treadaway French.

Cabaniss ~ Hungerford ~ Hanberry House, Built 1805 (or ca. 1808)
Have two interesting articles ... #1. "Cabaniss House," History of Jones Co. and #2. "AJC" article, Oct. 26, 1997 ~ "One-of-a-kind house has historic dignity restored," by David Beasley.
Assuming this David Beasley must be related to the Beasleys who married into my Hunt family of Jones Co., GA.

Sarah Larkin
Morning Mark, My hotmail account is not having a good day so I am using findagrave.
I am envious of U finding the resting place(s) of ur gg-parents. I started my genealogy quest 20 years ago looking for the same who are somewhere in Leon Co. Tx. but to no avail. The search took me on 3 trips to North Carolina where I went back even further. I found all the lines of theirs when they came to Texas but they still elude me. On well, the quest goes on.!!!
I digress, back to ur original question of where the monument is located.
Good news: There was a t.v. series called "Unforgetable" with Poppy Montgomery, she played a cop who could remember almost anything if she employed a few memory tricks.
Believe it or not I picked up a few pointers from that series and after almost 2 years, I actually drove right up to it.
I have put directions on her memorial. Since I did not create the memorial, instead of text, I put it is as photo-other. I tried to cut/past it into this email but Cont V did not work.
I live in Hubbard. If the directions don't work for ya, call me (469-878-6757) and since I am retired, unless I am out "cemetery stomping" as I call it, with my dog Precious, then I'll be glad to meet ya and point it out.
Good hunting, James Coston

Georgia Girl
George Cabaniss
The Cabaniss and Goolsby family had connections to my LeSueur (incl. Wilson family) line. A Cabaniss was a previous owner of Mead and Henrietta E. (Smith) LeSueur's home, nr. Bolingbroke, Monroe Co., GA and they had a granddaughter who married Dr. Robert Cullen Goolsby (f.a.g.). Was Elizabeth Goolsby (d/o ? & m. Harrison Cabaniss) his sister? George Cabainess built the Hunt (also my line), nr Round Oak, Jones Co., GA. Glad to hear from you and look forward to any additional information. Thanks!

Rev. Calloway
Hi Mark,

I'd be glad to add any bio or images you'd like to send for Rev. Calloway, or I'd be happy to transfer, as I'm not related. The information for Rev. Calloway came from the Clayton county cemetery book.

Dr. Rufus K. Larkin (memorial)
Hi, Mark.....Welcome to Find-A-Grave. I've made the changes you requested to your gr-gr-grandfather's memorial; I was just wondering if you'd like for me to transfer management of this one to you, since you're his direct descendant? I don't mind at all.....just let me know.

RE: Beckie Rogers & Martha Rebecca McCann
64661293 --- as it is is what we have on this one --- all information taken from the marker

64657545 --- this burial is unmarked --- and we have much information on the person, ie, funeral home record, obituray, obit does state that she was a Gentry so will delete the memorial on Find A Grave --- and understand that this will also take away all complete death dates on the memorial

This was a good catch
