|Jerry W. Ferguson||RE: Clara Hickman|
I wish she had a real headstone. The guy on the cemetery committee brought the cemetery map and helped me locate it. I was glad to make the photo.

|Concordia Ranger||Vinson Family in Concordia|
Went to Concordia Cemetery today and discovered the location of George and Gertrudes' burial site is a place where burials didn't start until the late 60s. It seems highly unlikely that were buried with the children. I'm still trying to locate Section 1, Tier 6.

|Concordia Ranger||Vinson Family in Concordia|
Went digging into the cemetery records and found the burial info for 2 out of the three Vinson children. No record for Baby Vinson (1930-1930). Discovered yet another Vinson child in the cemetery records, "Infant Vinson", and entered the plot info. I can't seem to find a DC for "Infant Vinson"
The Vinsons have a family plot and there's plenty of room for the childrens' graves. The Vinsons plot is marked and GPSed.
Tried to locate Father and Mother Vinson's burial info but the 1980s is when recordkeeping got real sloppy.

Just wanted to let you know that according to a genealogist that works at the public library in Stigler, OK, Cathia was a town located in a valley somewhere between Eufaula and Checotah, OK.

|Rita Wehunt-Black||Thank You So Much|
I can't thank you enough for the transfer of Jacob and Margaret L. Wehunt at Scott-Wehunt Cemetery. It means a great deal to me. I will take good care of them. Every transfer of a Wehunt memorial is like a precious gift.
Thank you for creating their memorials and for all that you do.

|Cathy Martin||Collumbus Brock in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery|
Wanted you to know that I visited this cemetery this week & took photos of most of the graves. I say 'most' because I know it is possible to miss some. When I visit cemeteries, it is not specifically to fulfill a photo request, but to document the cemetery. Although I do take a list of last names that have a request.... just in case. :) All the identifiable headstones (that I saw) for that cemetery have been posted.
Good Luck. I hope someone can find the headstone you are looking for. :).... Cathy

Thanks for adding the obit. Find A Grave is like a huge puzzle with the pieces scattered all around and each one of us add our pieces.

You are welcome, glad I could help. It was hard to reach - the stone is under a pine tree so had to take the photo from the side holding back limbs. Glad you thought it turned out OK.

Unfortunately, there is no grave marker for Norah Benton. I put a flag in the spot where she should be buried, and I took a photo of the plot.
I hope this helps!

THANK YOU for the transfer of Wilma to me. And THANK YOU for being a volunteer for this very worthwhile project. It is because of volunteers like you that take their time and effort, not counting gasoline and camera, that makes this such a great project, and because of you it is FREE.
Sorry to hear you had the flu.
Have a great day,
