RE: Charles Henry Hooker
Oh also there was an article in the Martinsville Daily Reporter Nov 8, 1920 that told of what happened and that the body was taken to his home. (word in the family is that he was not killed from the fall, but from a hatchet in the back of his head). Then on Nov 11, 1920, another article telling of a Jap Miller being appointed to Henry's estate. The fall occurred on the property of a Henry Hite. Both Jap Miller and Henry Hite are buried in Brooklyn cemetery.

Charles Henry Hooker
I am looking for my great great grandfathers grave. I know Charles Henry Hooker is at Brooklyn Cemetery, but I cannot find Henry Hooker who is supposed to be there. Did you find it? Did you photograph all graves there?

Hello. I just uploaded a photo onto memorial 103644947. The memorial had text indicating his service in the U.S. Army and that his rank was Major. According to the photo and the military marker, his rank was Corporal. Just fyi - you might want to just remove the text? Thanks!

Hello You added a picture of his US stone from Bluff Creek Cemetery to his memorial in France. I created a memorial for him in Bluff Creek and was wondering if you would consider posting your picture from that cemetery to his memorial there? Please see memorial 137367859. I have a message into Findagrave to mark the Bluff Creek one as a cenotaph.

Thank you!

Mary L. Eaaglebarger
Mary L. Eaglebarger no. 103866101 I couldn't send change of birth and death through edit key because the I have a date of birth later than her date of death on the system now. per 1870 Census her date of birth should be 1859 or 1860 and date of death unknown but it can't be 1858 she was 11 years old in 1870.

Sorry for the duplicate messages I noticed I didn't send her memorial no. with last note.

You have a birth date of 1846 but I show per the 1870 Marshall County In Census that Mary Lydia was 11 born in 1859, and her death can not be 1858. The list of Children for Hartman Eaglebarger and Mary Hartman Eaglebarger is
1. Delila Ann b. 4/16/1854, 2. Margaret A. b. 1856, 3. Henry A. b.9/26/1857,4. Mary Lydia b. 1859, 5. Able H. b. 12/14/1860, 6. Christiann b. 01/16/1863, 7. Washington b.06/1863, 8. Etta "Ella" Cornella Carolina b. 10/18/1868, 9. Sarah E. b. 12/27/1869, 10. Amanda b. 04/11/1876.

If you would like a copy of Census I would be happy to send to your email address just let me know.

I sent a suggestion to edit dates - the death date is also off by 10 years. If the dates are corrected then I will move the photos and delete my entry.

Jesse Francis
Thanks for putting the note on the Jesse Francis memorial. I knew the stone was misspelled, but the library wants the listing to be what is on the stone, so I had to send the edit. I hope they will also use the Francis spelling as well or it will be difficult to find the family connection. Thanks for all your help. We are working on the Greenlawn/South Park/New South Park area now. It may take us the rest of the summer to read it!.

Hi:) Where did you find the reference for Benjamin's middle name/nickname being Franklin/Frank? In all the records I have for him I've never seen that. Thanks:)

Mrs Ward
Mock cemetery
"Mock Addition of NW cemetery" and Mock cemetery are the same place: about a mile south of North Webster. Mock addition is *not* inside of NW cemetery (which is in town) even though the newspaper makes it sound as if it is.

Crouch memorials
I just want to thank you for making a memorial for my Aunt and Uncle. I was also wondering if by chance you have seen graves for the rest of the family i was told once that they were all buried in the same place but I have been searching and can't find anything. Their names are Ernest Crouch (D.d. 8/26/96)Ernest was married to Agnes Eggers (D.d. 7/29/80) Kenneth Crouch (D.d. 3/6/89)

Regena Hill #108271482
You established this memorial on 10 Apr 1013 for Regena Hill (b. 22 Nov 1856, d. 29 Mar 1863), DAU OF J M & C, with no picture of the gravestone.

This appears to be the gravestone listed in Lester H. Binnie's listing of graves and inscriptions in Center Cemetery as illegible Hill. I have photographed the gravestone and agree that the name appears illegible although the calculated birth date agrees with the birth year for John M. and Charlotte Hill's second child, Ella Hill (1860 census). Ella does not seem to fit the remaining inscription although Ella may well be a nick name.

If your memorial is for this grave, can you provide any information for source of the name Regena or if it can be connected to Ella Hill?

Thanks,

Bob Weimer #481101151

RE: Addie Faloon
No,
Rachel remains elusive. I found her mother, brother and two sisters in Hamburg cemetery in Iowa. I'm also looking for her sister, Prudence who is my GG Grandmother (there may be another Great in there!)The obituary says Addie's mother was still alive at the time of her death, I thought she had already died by then. The search continues......

Addie Faloon
Thank you very much for the clarification! I have deleted my memorial for Addie. She is the daughter of my GG Aunt, Rachel McDonald. I didn't know for sure that she actually existed until I found her obituary, as her birth and death fell between censuses. I still can't find her husband, George! Thanks again!

Obituaries
Want to tell you how great it is that you immediately process obituaries to Find A Grave. I'm in a group that photos headstones for Find A Grave, and it makes it so much easier for us to insert the photo into an already existing and complete entry. Your work is correct and timely, and future genealogists will also be grateful that you memorialized their departed souls before they were forgotten and/or lost. Willey Skinner
I noticed you posted William Skinner's tombstone and a link to his wife's page Willey with her birth and death dates but no photo is posted of her grave markings. Do you have one and can you post it? To help out if you calculate William Skinner's birth date backwards it is 1797 and not 1798. Hope that helps.

Also I am looking for the grave of their son William W Skinner (Jr) and his wife Harriet Skinner. Do you know if they are buried there as well? I noticed another son John was and saw his grave. William W Skinner may be buried with a second wife as well whose name was Catharine.

William Skinner Sr and Willey lived next door on many of the censuses to William Skinner Jr and wife Harriet. Harriet appeared to have died before 1880 but William Jr was still alive as of 1880

Any information is appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Mike
