Alfrata Sperry Lyons
Hi Carolyn,

I tried to upload links for Alfrata's Mother Phoebe Caroline Wood 84663109 and Father James Monroe Sperry 84662449, but it is pending a submission from Shirley. Phoebe was my Grandfather's Mother's Ada Mae Smith Aunt, Ada Mae was Alpha Anna Wood's Sister.

RE: Sacramento County Cemetery
Hi Carolyn,

There is not a lot of information associated with these people. They were all considered indigent without any family support to cover final expenses.

Regards, Eric

You are very welcome, I'm glad to help.

RE: Dwyer & Smith
Jeepers, by their obituary, they had no surviving one who would qualify to get a death certificate. I certainly hope your endeavor to get information is eventually successful, Carolyn!

RE: Jeanette Dwyer & Christine Smith
Carolyn...that is disturbing about the Luceros "surviving" other people. I had not found that yet, but makes one wonder if they were some kind of care providers who got into "good graces" of some of their employers for financial gain. Guess I should try to research them more as you have done. Since you are family, perhaps you can get death records of Christine and Mrs. Dwyer? Plus I'll have to put them on a list for next trip to physical library to see if there was another article about them in the newspaper when they passed.

RE: Jeanette Dwyer
I wondered the same about simultaneous deaths, but all I've managed to find so far is a college picture of Christine Dwyer Smith. There was probably something in the newspaper at the time, but did not get put into obituaries.

RE: Mabel Pearl Corbin Barber
Yes she does deserve it. She was a very sweet lady, but a spit fire too.

RE: Mabel Pearl Corbin Barber
No the date has not been added to the headstone. I have talked to the brother that lives there. If you could please ask Ken to look into this when he goes to visit that would be great. Our hands are tied being so far away.
BTW Congrats on the upcoming Nuptials!!

RE: Alexa Rachael Weiner
Thank you for fulfilling my request. There should be no waiting period so it may be just a glitch in the database. I recommend you to log out, then log in to try again. Such glitches should be temporary.

RE: Hannah Flynn and family
I will be happy to add them when we get home. The weather this winter has been brutal! The snow finally melted and we went out Friday and did some drive by's. If spring ever comes to Illinois we will be able to walk them again :)

RE: William Taylor
Hi Carolyn! It was Wayne this time. I was at work, he went in 17 degree weather and just did a drive through. With William are Estelle Wuest (added photo) Female ? Taylor Walls 1890-1952, Claude O. Taylor, pic already added, Mack Lee Walls 1874-1966. They are all on one slab together so are related somehow. I can tell by the photo they are in the same area as your Hughes, Laws. When it warms up some we will go back and walk it. Merry Christmas!! Connie and Wayne

Carolyn, I uploaded a photo of Lillie's headstone. She is under a very nice shade tree. Because of the hour in the afternoon, the photo has some shadows. If you would like a clearer photo, let me know, I'm just a few blocks away.

RE: Rosanna Tosh
You're very welcome. I'm sorry that there wasn't a marker. She was buried in Section 1-A, but as I did not create the entry for her, I'm not able to put that information on her memorial page. Unfortunately, that's all the information the cemetery board had for her.

RE: Hughes & Tosh Family
Carolyn , you are very welcome. Her name is Linda Arnold and she is very knowledgable in Macoupin County geneology, where her ancestors came from . I am pretty sure your Tosh's are the same family. Not a common name. Just made a trip home to NJ for my nieces wedding and made a trip to a huge cemetery and saw my gggrandparents stone. Awesome! Someone had photographed it for me last year but loved seeing it in person. That's where we found this other one that is now my picture on here. It was life size and absolutely beautiful !! Take care, Connie :)

Hi Carolyn, Hope you are doing well. I just looked through my pictures for your new requests because I am always on the lookout for your family. I didn't find the new 3 babies you requested, but did find B.M. Hughes, wife Eliza and Grace Hughes, who I photographed in late June and forgot to look for. So I added them today.I am helping another sweet lady from California and she also researches Tosh from Macoupin County. I imagine they are related because the 2 counties touch and are less then 10 miles apart. If you look at my Find A Grave friends list she is LF Arnold. very nice and informative lady. Will try to look again when it cools down, summer finally came at the end of August!! take care, Connie :)

RE: Besssie Louise Hughes
Carolyn, I believe this is going to be another Bessie Hughes. If you will notice she is also born 1907 but died 1908. Also on the cemetery list she is listed on the Waverly Cem as the (infant daughter of Ira Hughes). So I believe yours is going to be right and mine is going to be right. Just 2 different people.
