He has been transferred you. So sorry, I never got an email from you a week ago, asking for it. My very deepest sympathy. So sad. Rosalie

RE: Murl Campbell
Okay, I found it easy enough today when I tried. So when you go in the cemetery, just a few rows up on the right, you'll see a marker for the Johnson family. It's down that row, almost to the end.

HI Linda, I'm sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I have looked through the sexton records at the library and through my photos to try to figure out what section she is in. I was unsuccessful. She's not even listed in the sexton records book at the library. She is surely in the two older sections of the cemetery, and now that the stone has been cleaned, you may have an easier time finding it. I'm pretty much done at this cemetery, however, when I go back that way I'll start look for you, too. If you find her, please let me know. Thanks. Happy Holidays!

Hi, Linda! I'm so glad you found your relative! I know how exciting it is when you look and look and finally after years, you find what you are looking for.

I actually am related to the Campbells in Bay City, not sure if I am to this one, though.

I did need to scrub it up a bit and get the sunlight to hit it just right to get the name on the top.

I transferred membership to you.

RE: Farver Stone
You are welcome, Linda! We are from Kansas City but were in Michigan visiting my husband's family. We went to several cemeteries, Almer being one of them, to find graves of some of my husband's family members and it was pretty easy to just add some others to our list. I am glad we were able to help you out. :)

Fraer in Christchurch
I have transferred the Fraer's in Linwood cemetery to you.
There are other people with the surname buried in other Christchurch cemeteries which have not been entered into Find A Grave yet which you can find at http://heritage.christchurchcitylibraries.com/Cemeteries/

Cheers
William

Hi Linda, I was out to Grasslake today and noted that the Fraer's are listed in the Grasslake West Cemetery. You have a memorial for Clarissa(124822343). They are actually buried in Grasslake East Cemetery. The other memorials for Michael and James have already been moved to the other cemetery so I just wanted to let you know to have Clarissa moved. I would rather you do it that way than create another memorial for her.

RE: Note: Duplicate
No! Find A Grave doesn't allow a Contributor who maintains (2) exact memorials on a person. They go by: Date created. Regardless how bogus - when first memorial was done. They either force the duplicate to be Deleted or Merge with the Duplicate.

RE: Note: Duplicate
Regarding duplicates... What Find A Grave will eventually do is merge the all information in with MAH first created memorial for Clarinda. (Which stinks!) since, it was so off & because she is now listed as Inactive & Find A Grave doesn't now allow Transfers. Unless someone can show they fit the 4 Generation Mode & prevent folks like myself. Who could provide additional information makes no sense to me....

What you see... When the Merge eventually happens. Your name drop off. Though, Photo added etc. will all be their!

I will upload a JPEG Image. on Clarinda or George Miller memorial so you have the Ability to Download it... Tom

RE: Re: George D. Miller Sr.
From what I have read in the Gladwin County Record. I do! believe... Flint, Genesee County, Michigan is where you need to dig in more on George D. Miller Sr., Note: I have all the Gladwin County Clerk Office Entries for Deaths up to 2000 & he sure isn't shown dying in Gladwin County, MI.

I would lay 100% bet.. The info you show is the George Miller you want. Just can't help anymore.

RE: Note: Duplicate
Linda,

Note: I understand... However, once Find A Grave Admin sees a Duplicate. They will merge the duplicate over in what MAH first set-up. Even when it was a mistake.
I had the same problem like this with another Find A Grave Contributor Gabby. Til, I was allowed to fix up all her typo's etc.

Just letting you know! Doesn't seem fair or make sense. They set the Crazy Rules. You probally heard the drill before. I'm not a Happy Camper abt. all of this either. :) {Especially on the Topic of Transfers. They have (2) Separate sections and only enforce one. One states one has to be in the 4th Generation. However another paragraph section says: If someone like MAH goes Inactive. Find A Grave Admin can Transfer that person Memorials over to an Active Find A Grave Contributor. Though, they now refuse... Even when a Precedent was Established.

Note: Duplicate
Linda,

If you could send a request to Find A Grave.

I just noticed MAH made an Original memorial for Clarinda and had the Name as: Lurinda. So, in order to get everything merged. I'm going to give you the (2) Memorial i.d's for Clarinda.

Please see: memorial # 128828886 & see # 13639489

What a mess...

Re: George D. Miller Sr.
Linda,

Note: I did an Advanced search for George D. Miller Sr., I see a whole ton of write-ups on his son George Miller. and their's another George Miller in the GCR who was George Henry Miller who married Mary Jane Cowell.

I took the Search all the way to the end of the year of 1944. Don't see an Obituary write-up. Do believe! Flint, Genesee County, Michigan perhaps has something on him.

I did find Lurinda child William Henry Miller in the Gladwin County Record and it says: He was buried in the Roselawn cemetery. His write-up confirms he belongs to George D. Sr & Lurinda.

Hope all this helps.

Re: Lurinda & G. D. Miller
Linda,

I have found some interesting new bits pieces of information for both Lurinda & G.D. Miller.

See: Lurinda Miller Find A Grave memorial. Husband is George D. Miller Sr. looks like he is from Flint, Michigan & still living according to a brief write-up in the GCR as of 11-7/1934.

I'm still searching to see if Gladwin will have something on him. When he might of have passed. Still don't know when?

Re: Lurinda Miller
Linda,

Please! give me the memorial i.d. # for the correct George Miller. You wish to have linked up with Lurinda. I can get this done for you.

Note: Finally Find A Grave has marked MAH inactive & they have put in the Edit Field. Where we now can Send edits to get the Full name & Vitals section updated.

I've been wanting to get this done for several years. Now we finally hopefully can run thru the 630 some memorials in Billings Twp. and see them nearly complete.

Note: I just sent out some Edits today! When Find A Grave process them. The first 80 names listed in Alphabetical order should now make more sense.
