No, I am not a Price researcher. It is the Turner family that is of interest to me.

Catherine Floyd links
Hello Charlotte,

Just wanted to let you know why I'm declining your links to Catherine's parents. The Pennsylvania Long's, while they do share the same names as Catherine's parents aren't correct. If you notice on the Pennsylvania Gabriel Long's bio, it says his daughter Catherine was born in 1826, mine was born in 1840.

Catherine's parents were Gabriel (1802-1885) and Catherine Jenerette Long (1810-1880) and lived and died in NC. All 3 can be seen in the 1850 & 1860 census in Shallotte, Brunswick, NC. The mother you wanted me to link to was dead by 1860.

Has your transfer request been answered?
I see on Tombstoner's (#46591527)page you asked for a transfer. Did he ever reply? I've been leaving msgs. and emailing him for a months and have heard nothing. I wonder if he is inactive?

Marie Ann Dubus Garrett
RE: Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi Museum ?
This is all I really know of the Gray line. It is not part of my family so I did not pursue it.
However, if you are on there is someone out there researching the Gray line that I am related....but I do the Dubus....not the Gray....

Good luck!

Charlotte, if you will give me a working email address, I will answer you. The one you posted is not a recognizable one. Would love to be able to contact you. Are you a member of Otis' family? Would like to have more info on him. You have my email address. Shelba

RE: Townsend Gray
Sorry....but no. And unless your Gray is buried NEAR or IN the Gray Family Coping, then your Gray is probably not related.
However, there is a Gray who is head of the Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi Museum who has thoroughly researched his Gray family - you might try him...
I don't remember the name of the museum, but there is only one in Bay Saint Louis....

good Luck!

Yankee Magnolia
RE: Abel Key///John Martin Key, III
It's possible they are related back through Abel's father, John. But there were a number of Key families living in NC at that time. I'm not able to make a connection but will continue to look into it. Thanks for the hint.

Both Abel Key Jr. and Sr. are buried in the same small Key Cemetery.

Abel Key
Charlotte, I have added some information about Abel's parents to his memorial. I cannot create memorials for his parents since their burial location is unknown and will likely remain that way. My fear is that someone will just plop them down in any cemetery for the purpose of creating a memorial. Anyway, Abel's memorial will give you some information on his parents. Are you related to the family? Abel is my 2X great-grandfather.

I had 13 from three states. I sent all of them to you. If you find that you do not want the out of state "Prices" you can just transfer them back. But, you never know what one of them might turn up for you.
Best regards, and Happy Researching, Bud

Agnes Taliaferro
I will look for her under Marshall but the town clerk's office has no record of her husband Alexander Taliaferro who is also listed on Find A Grave as being in Fairview. It may be that they are both buried somewhere else. Martha

Ann [Shippen] Willing
-Hi Charlotte,
You left flowers on the memorial page for Ann [Shippen] Willing, #11323323. I have not had a lot of success with the page creator adding information, so I thought I would pass this on to you in case you did not already have it:

1791, 24 June
We were invited to ye funeral of ye widow Willing, upwards of 80 years of age.
