|Toot||William Cornett grave|
On your find a grave page is a picture of an elderly man. Is that William Cornett and where did you find it? I am a great great great granddaughter of William Cornett and would love to know where you found that picture.
Also on that page was a history of several surnames. What is the source of the portion of the Cornett history?

|LR Jolley||RE: John L. Boyer|
No, I'm sorry, I don't have any information about him. I enjoy taking photos of graves to help others find the graves of their family members. I just happened to be in the area visiting my grandchildren, and stopped by this quaint little cemetery, and took some pictures. I did think that the marker with all the names on it was unusual. It was surrounded by several individual small headstones, and all of it was fenced in by a hedge. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If they contact the Christ's Church, they may be able to find out something.

Thank you for her obituary and burial info. Hopefully, someone can now find her gravestone and her husband's gravestone so a photo can be posted to Find A Grave.

After entering this grave of Harry and Maude gearing, I did an ancestry search and found your entry with burial location unknown. So, I thought you might want to know about this. Is it the same person? Are you related? I am not... Let me know what you would like me to do, i.e. transfer to you, delete, etc.
All the best, -Hal

|PictureTaker||Cebert Felix Sr and Eva Ann Wood Halsey|
I took photos of what appear to be this couple in Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford VA resting not far from their son Wyndell Grimsley Halsey # 138762811.
Their dates are June 20, 1876, Dec 11, 1974 for Cebert # 138762963
and Oct 27, 1886, Nov 25, 1976 for Eva # 138762946.
If these dates match the records in question they should be moved to Greenwood Cemetery.

|EAHJr||William Carr Allen|
I was notified that William Carr Allen and wife, Susan Sayers Morris Allen, are actually buried in the Millirons and Allen Families Cemetery in Pulaski, Va. These were created by the late Becky Sowers. There are already memorials for William and Susan Allen in that cemetery so Becky's are now duplicates. Please move your image of William and Susan's marriage certificate to the existing memorials in the Millirons and Allen Cemetery and I will delete the old ones. Thanks for all you do for Find a Grave!

You are welcome. It was a cold Feb 10th when I located the first Hazel Jennings. Got home and realized my mistake. So on the 25th I made another pass to find the Hazel Jennings you wanted. That will teach me to check more carefully when researching before going to the cemetery.

|Barbara Anne (Brownell) Potter||Samuel & Susan Koiner Henkel|
I sent stars&bars a suggestion and they deleted the memorial. I asked them why and they would never answer me so I relisted it. It was a strange thing for them to do since all I did was send a suggestion.
Why did you delete the orginial memorials for Samuel & Susan Koiner Henkel that was posted by stars&bars (Find A Grave contributor #46877736)?
I was also the one that originally posted the photo of Samuel to Find-A-Grave and on Ancestry.

During a recent trip to St. John's, I looked for your requested grave marker. I was unable to fulfill your request, but did take a number of pictures of other Umburger grave markers. You can see them on my Flicker account - use the link below. Sorry I couldn't find your specific grave marker, but I hope these photos include some of your extended family members.

FOGLESONG CEMETERY --- Charles (1772-1855) - Margaret (Yew) Foglesong (1772-1847) - Susan Foglesong (1800-1858.
I'm Bill Courtney. You were kind enough to go out on my request for a photo on the Foglesong Cemetery and the monuments if still standing for my Foglesong ancestors. I'm sorry you were unable to locate the cemetery after your search. I've been told it is remote and not marked. One of those old pioneer cemeteries slowly falling into anonymity.
From my information these are the directions I have;
The cemetery is not marked and requires some "hunting"! Hwy 81 to Blacklick Road…taking Crawfish Road (625) into the canyon. If you reach Daisy Drive (private ranch road) you've gone too far and need to come back about 500-700 feet. The old cemetery is on the South side of Crawfish, the same side as Daisy Drive. I don't know if that helps any further.
I'm living on the West Coast but maybe someday I'll find my way to Virginia and hunt for the old Foglesong cemetery. Thanks again so much for your time and effort.
Take care - Bill.
