Thank you so very much for taking a photo of the grave of Angus McCartney, my 3rd cousin 3x removed. He was born 21 Jul 1924 to Samuel and Lottie McCartney who farmed near Wasketenau, Alberta and was the youngest boy of a large family of six daughters and five sons. Very likely he felt going to war would be an adventure and an escape from the grinding poverty farmers in Alberta were facing during the Depression which lasted during the 1930s until the advent of World War II. I will be posting your photo on Ancestry.ca for his cousins to see and will give you credit for the work. Again, thank you for this work you have so freely given.

Thank you so much! for adding the grave photo from Tyne Cot for my uncle Thomas. Thomas lied about his age so he could go fight in the war. He was way too young to go, and his death killed his father too of a broken heart.

I know that 4 of the names have already got photos uploaded but i would like higher quality photographs of all of the headstones for a project that I am working on.
I actually have a list of 31 names who are in Cemeteries/Memorials in Belgium

Did you know that his brother, Harry Arthur King,Find A Grave Memorial# 12220610 -is also buried here?
His story is particularly interesting, I think.

I would like to thank you so very much for your kindness in taking a photo of the grave of Harold Peel.
As I live in Australia, it is wonderful to see how carefully Harold's grave is cared for and I greatly appreciate your kindness and assistance in going and taking a photo for me. It means such a lot to be able to see a photo and you have been extremely generous to me.
Once again, thank you for your kind help and for Find a Grave.
