Thanks for the transfer of the above memorial but this is a duplicate of a memorial created by Record Hunter. I have forwarded the appropriate corrections to this contributor but wanted to know if you could transfer your photo to Record Hunter's memorial before I delete the duplicate?
Again, thanks for this transfer and all other transfers and corrections you have made at my request.

Thanks for looking for Adam at Mission Baptist. After a little more research, he is buried at Old Mission Cemetery. I have two descriptions:

Located off #1210 on small road at Milling. On right of road about 300 yards from #1210 in overgrown area.

6 miles south of Mt. Pleasant, N. C. in the little town known as Mission.

Are you familiar with either of these descriptions?

RE: James Smith/Gladys Smith
OOps. I meant that James and Gladys were married and had a daughter on the 1940 census, not James and Maggie.

RE: James Smith/Gladys Smith
Hello. James Troy Smith was the son of Wiley Smith (1877-1910) and Dollie Robinson Smith (1877-1951). He married Gladys Margaret Smathers (1914-2007). Gladys was the daughter of William Sidney Smathers (1868 1937) and Maggie Thompson Smathers (1874 1949). James and Maggie were living together in Beaverdam, North Carolina, on the 1940 census and had a 4 year old daughter, Geraldine. I am quite confident this isn't the James Smith you are looking for. Best of luck!

Thanks for the picture. Ben is not related to me but I always liked seeing his marker at Stoney Fork. I remember for a few years there was a lawn chair next to the grave. I am sure a person close to him spent many hours there grieving his passing.

I did not realize that you had already added this lady to the database. Please forgive my error. I will gladly transfer management over to you since I really have no connection to anyone in this cemetery. I was only gathering a little info for another person who lives far away and and I live very close.

Thank you....

Stephanie A. Eudy

I deleted my memorial per your request, regards.

I will check to see which graves I would like to have pictures of the most at let you know by this weekend. One grave I feel a sadness about is Ulysses Harris he was buried in 1964 and still has a temporary marker (barely). One day when I can find a couple hundred extra bucks (Ha ha) I would like to have a simple marker placed for him. Good luck with your move. Being in the murder capital of Florida at the moment there are many times I would love to live in Montgomery or Moore County. I own a few acres in Moore that I inherited from my grandmother Cora Davis Harris who is buried at Stoney Fork.
