I would love to transfer any family members that you would like to have to you. The Livingston and Brazie families are the ones that I research in the Basket area, but along the way if I find other information, I post it so others can find it. Do you have the number for Mary Oestrich Shields? Have you gotten a copy of THE BASKET LETTERS by Leslie D. LaValley from the Basket Historical Society Long Eddy, NY 12760? It is full of information and has a section on the Oestrich family. Lisa

I am researching my husband's family tree and the Headstone pictures you have provided for the Staubitz family have been very helpful.

|Raymond Beyler||RE: Apologies for taking so long...|
Hi, I was away from my Genealogy research for a while due to my wife's illness. I just got the 2014 Family Tree Maker with a month free membership, and my wife has improved a lot so I'm back at my computer. I'm still not real familiar with the Find-A-Grave procedures. I'm just learning about "transferring care", if that is what you call it. I also see I had a couple of message back in April concerning some photos of a headstone I posted of my Great Aunt Anna Haley Gibson and her husband Nick who are buried at Oak hill cemetery in Bradford, Pa. I believe the sender of the message "takes care" of Oak Hill photos. I'm going to check further after sending this off. Thanks for transferring control of Rudolph and Marie Beyeler to me. I'll check and see if there are any others.

|Robi StoneCypher Green||RE: Woodard's|
Do Thelma & Lyle need to be connected? I have been working on genealogy for these memorials, just haven't gotten to Saint Andrews Cemetery yet. If they are your family, I will gladly transfer to you, as I am sure people like to be "Home for the Holidays".
Have a Very Merry Christmas and a happy healthy New Year.

I have transferred her memorial to your care as I am not related. I received a great many of the memorials posted by Buck Buchannan upon his passing last year. If others of your relatives are among those memorials please let me know and I will be happy to transfer them to your care.

I'll be glad to add that photo to Lavinia. Next time I'm over there (it's not far from Roscoe) I'll stop and get another picture showing hers clearer.

Thanks so much for catching the typo on Anna's gravestone. I really do appreciate the help of visitors like you who catch these things. I try to check all my entries, but... well you know.

Thanks...all matched up...I'll have to check my Callicoon Center Cemetery file...maybe the headstone pic is there and I overlooked it...if not. that cemetery is about 15 minutes from where I live and I'll do some walking and try to find it...good way to get a tan on a nice sunny day.

Thanks so much for adding Henry & Eva's wedding announcement to Eva's memorial page. She was my husband's great-aunt.
Would you also add that to Henry's memorial page?
Thanks so much.

|Sullivan Purcell||RE: Elamanda Layton Bauernfeind...|
Hello -- Thanks for your kind words! I'm so glad that you find the Sullivan County information useful. That was my hope when I started adding memorials to Find a Grave. As to Elamanda, there may have been an obituary, but unfortunately, Find A Grave removed all 400 of my "click-it" obits last summer. If I come across an obit for her, I'll be sure to get in touch.

|Brenda ||John and Sophia Holloway|
Thank you very much for your contact, which I found on my return from holiday.
John Holloway was the brother of my husband's second great-grandfather, so not a direct ancestor. However, this branch of the family was very interesting to research. John and Sophia married in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England on 7 Apri, 1845 and with their children emigrated to the United States, arriving in New York on 18 April, 1867. Through the internet I've been able to discover most of their descendants, some of whom I've 'met' on the Geni website.
I will make the necessary changes here.
Once again, thank you for the contact.

|Keith Knipe||RE: Philip Jacob Hust...|
Hello back atcha cousin,
I always enjoy hearing from relatives ... just seems to make all the long hours of research worthwhile. Margaret Treese was a 2nd cousin. Isn't Helen Bossley great? She helped me out with the Hust connection.
Good hearing from you and take care.

|Vivian||Nellie Hodge Bonnell in Liberty Cemetery|
Hello, I found a brief obituary for Nellie which gives her date of death as March 10, 1928:
"BONNELL - At Liberty Hospital, March 10, Nellie Hodge, wife of Joseph Bonnell, aged fourty-four years. She was a daughter of Darius and Augusta Kortright Hodge. Beside the husband, a son, Howard D., aged nine, survives. The parents and two brothers, David, of Liberty, and Roscoe of Bradley, also survive."
--The Orange County Independent (Middletown, NY), Thursday, March 22, 1928, page 5
Hope this helps!
