|John Burnett||Dobson children connected to parents|
Hope you are well. Can you edit Johnnie Dobson and Donnie Dobson Addison to add their parents. I am trying to get all the kids linked.
Thanks. I am hoping to travel back to Baker County Some time next year!

|jbdean79||Elijah Dobson Memorial|
Hi Amy, I am doing some family tree research and noticed there is an error in the Elijah Dobson memorial. He is listed as a son of Sebron, Jr. but I believe he is a cousin? Elijah's b-day is in 1860 while Sebron Jr. is 1863.
Just letting you know. Thank you! :)
here's the link to the memorial http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=22291086

I was talking to my uncle Scott about you and the pictures you posted. Yes, Rachel I believe was Rachel Cobb before she married. Hope you are well. I have been on the go with work. I am recovering from a trip with 21 students that I help "mentor" to St. Louis. Yes, I am now offically old--attempting to stay up with 20 year olds is crazy. It has taken me a week to recover, but I did have fun!

I just saw that post on your profile page and I know you follow though with it.
Greg Gainey and Alton are good friends of mine too. My grandmother Florida Sweat and her ancestors came from Baker County, FL.

Hi Amy. Thanks for the info. You misunderstood the memorials. I had them as location unknown, not buried in Dyess. My memorials were made a yr and a half before yours. This is the way Find A Grave rules are...if you see a memorial that's incorrect, you write the originator and ask for corrections. Making a duplicate is not acceptable. If it's your family, then ask the originator for a transfer. I have moved Johnnie and Virgie to Olustee. You need to add your tombstone photos to my pages, delete yours and then ask for a transfer. Hope this clarifies the situation! Glad you found them and thanks for writing.

I will absolutely transfer them to you, and I tried but it said there was no record for the number you provided. Can you double check it?
I live one minute from Taylor Cemetery, and it's only about 4 miles to Northprong. I have stomped around over there quite a bit and it's not too far to go to try to get someone a picture. I havene't been doing much with it lately because my Mom was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago but she is doing pretty good considering.

Amy, I am going to delete mine this time, so you can put in his parents in yours. It is best to always check to see if someone else has put up a persons memorial before entering yours. You can however put pictures up in anyones memorial if you have them. Are you related to the Mikells, I am friends with a lot of them that now live in Marion county, in fact some are neighbors. Be sure to put in her full name on your memorial even her maiden name.

It's a little bit funny, I work for Baker County EMS and my partner is the ex wife of Jason. Anyhow my Uncle Johnny Gainey was married to Berniece and my Uncle Mitchell was married to Georgia a long time ago. I am going to try to go out there tomorrow and get your photo for you.

Hi Amy: My parents and grandparents were from Baker County. My Grandmother was Karelle Walker and my grandfather was Elijah "Lige" Walker. My Dad was John Allen Burnett and his parents were Johnnie and Roxie Burnett who owned the Western Auto Store in Downtown Macclenny. I use to live in Jacksonville years ago. I have had a hard time locating any Dobson photos. I have posted what I have on ancestry.com "Updated Burnett and their connections" If you use ancestry feel free to check it out.

Hello Amy and nice to meet you! My roots run deep in FL as I am a fourth Generation Floridian. Who is your Grandmother that is buried in Olustee? Maybe we're related! You may write me personally at pas47pap yahoo com so we can talk more! Thanks for writing and I look forward to further conversations. Best regards, Ann
