On your memorial for Gilbert Ogden #105922806 you stated that some information came from his obit. Do you have a copy and could email a copy of it? He was a distant cousin of mine....Dotty

Marie Rednour
The Marie D. Rednour I have listed was the daughter of Horris (Horace) Clinton Rednour and Maude M. Williamson. Horris born 10/18/1875 in Illinois and died 4/11/1944 Steeleville, IL. Maude was born 7/1879 in IL and died 12/6/1929 Steeleville, IL. Horris was son of Andrew Rednour (1835 Greene Co., TN - 5/22/1897 Steeleville, IL. married Mary L. Crain - 1837 Missouri - 11/19/1893 Steeleville, IL. Andrew was son of John Rednour and Betsy (Elizabeth) Jeffers. Andrew and Mary had 5 children: Amanda Rednour (MO), Thomas Rednour (IL), Horris Rednour (IL), Andrew Rednour, Jr. (IL) and Charles A. Rednour (IL). I have never been able to find if she had a husband and family but assume she did since she lived to 88. Hope this helps you. If you need more, let me know and I will check into anything of interest. I am directly connected to the Rednours. My great grandmother was Nancy Rednour married Ephraim Widick. All relatives on both sides of my family were from Illinois. Nancy Rednour was my father's grandmother. She died in 1944 and is buried in Percy Village IOOF Cemetery, Percy, IL.

It's been a long time since I worked on the Rednours. Please give me a couple of days to go through my notebook (it's a 4 inch binder) and I promise to get back to you. Thanks.

Hi Laura,
I just wanted to add that any pictures of any Dildays would also be appreciated if you have the time. Also would you mind if I shared that picture of my Aunt Marie née Dilday Jeanguenat that you put on her memorial with her daughters, and if I put it on Ancestry also. Bonni

RE: Clifford Seibel
Hi Laura,
You were right, the edit listed the wrong mother. I declined it, but I linked him to his mother Ethel as you requested. Appreciate your follow up on this, although I always check the edits before I accept or decline them, so I probably would have sent you an inquiry. Have a good weekend.

RE: Opel Dilday Kaiser
My mother's name was Opel Dilday. It could be spelled Opal too as she was named after her birthstone, but it was Opel on her birth certificate and that was what she went by. Bonni

RE: Opel Dilday Kaiser
You said that you had scanned pictures from the Gorham High School yearbook (mostly senior). My mother went to Gorham High School, but only for about two years. She never graduated as around her sophomore year she became very sick and after she had recovered she never went back. I have no pictures of my mother pre-adulthood. Her family was very poor and pictures were rare. I once (and once only) saw a picture of my mother at around 14 years old, but I don't know whatever happened to the picture (my grandmother showed it to me--it was in a trunk) and that was it. You wouldn't happen to know if you would have a picture of her at all from the yearbook. Thank you. Bonni Kaiser

Marie Dilday Jeanguenat
Thanks so much for posting the picture of my mother's sister, Marie Jeanguenat, on her memorial. Where did you get that picture from? I have never seen that picture before. Is that from a high school yearbook? Anyway, thanks again. Bonni Kaiser

I am singing the HaPpY song! What a gift. This is a beautiful photo. Thank you so much for both Leroy and Flora's tombstone photo as well as the nice memorial you created for her. I love the way the copper has aged on this headstone. Thank you!

The email has not arrived. I checked the address and copied it, in case I typed it wrong, here it is again. I had surgery on my head and have to be careful about typing things.

Laura, would you mind sending me a scan of the obit and I can cut out all of the extra stuff that has nothing to do with Florence? I can send back the cleaned up obit. It will also be more readable.

William Leroy Purdue
Laura, Thanks for the note and for the edit approval. This is all I have on him:

"He was known as “Roy” living in Flint MI when his mother, Amanda, died in 1953." (this was my great grandmother and I got this info from her obit.) I assume he probably went to Flint to work in one of the automobile factories.

He married a second time. He had no children.
This friend you have who goes through the obits...this is great. So much valuable info is gleaned from doing this.

Thank you for creating this memorial. I have been searching for him for a long time! Any ideas on where his wife may have been interred? I have sent you a few edits, I hope you will approve, so we can link this fellow. Thanks again, DAM
