Hi Janie :-)

Regarding Find A Grave Memorial# 84988994

A reception will follow the mass at the Weinert House from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio. Thank you so much for uploading this headstone photo to Find A Grave. Would it be okay with you if I added this photo to my family tree, giving you photo credit, of course?

Re: Dianne May
Hi Janie -

In the next few hours I'll be uploading a couple photos of the mausoleum crypt where Dianne May is currently buried. They're both very different photos. One was taken about a week after Hurricane Katrina and the other was taken earlier today. The marble tablet in front of her crypt was cracked badly during Katrina and had to be discarded. The new table remains without any inscriptions.
While the cemetery has made a good effort in replacing inscriptions of tablets that were damaged during Katrina, a few crypts sorta got lost in the shuffle and remain blank.
If you're interested in getting the inscriptions replaced, call the cemetery at 504-279-6376 and tell them you're a family member and be ready to send them a copy of the photo I'll be posting to Ms. May's Find-A-Grave page. There should be no charge for the replacement (as far as I know).

Be well,

Thank You !

Thank you SO much for all the incredible work you have done helping me locate information on my great-great grandmother and my grandfather, and providing me with their death certificates and the newspaper clippings about my great-grandmother's tragic death.

Thank you too for working SO hard to locate and enter all the grave site information for all the ancestors I told you about, and beyond.

You have inspired me to continue my search and document grave sites for other family members who may be searching.

You are an Angel!

God Bless,

It wasn't easy deciding what view you would like because of the niech wall sizing so I put two pictures on her memorial. You are free to delete one or the other. Or both. I have a few other views that I'll send to your email so you can choose among those as well.

RE: Madaline Henkel
Janie, Thank you so much. First let me say that I'm sorry if I seemed to be rude or unkind. I do appreciate that you posted the picture of their grave marker. Lossing mom is still very raw, I was her caregiver for over 12 years. How do you get your information? The paper or walking through the grave? We purchased 14 plots there when my daddy passed away. Two rows behind where my parents are my best friend is buried and almost at her feet her daddy. Her name is Cindy Woitena. Her statue of the Virgin Mother was stolen off her grave marker.

Once again thank you and check back I will be posting a couple of pictures of my mom and dad. They were a couple that was always in love and always holding hands.

God Bless,

John Baker Gilliland
Hi, Janie, I created the memorial in Navasota Cemetery using his death certificate as a reference.. However, when I check Gloria Mayfield's site, there is no "Navasota Cemetery" in Grimes County. I'll be deleting my memorial, and it can be concluded that John B. Gilliland is actually buried in Oakland Cemetery.

Thanks so much!
I have liked looking at Findagrave for awhile now and while bored at work the other day, I thought about adding my grandparents. I went to visit them a few weeks ago, but didn't take any pictures. Thank you so much for adding these for me! :)
