|Zella||RE: Carl Backhaus - Glendale - Akron|
I am going out there tomorrow. BTW - if you can call the office early and get plot locations for your other requests I will see if I can find them.

Carl's grave is unmarked. Did you want a photo of the area? I can mark the spot with some flowers for the photo.

|Susan Lundin Smith||Jacob Peterson photo request|
You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at email@example.com Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!

|Peg Gerber||RE: Almasie requests|
Two of the "old-timers" here believe many of the Almasie family members are buried on the family homesite on Nelson Mtn. Road, so it may be that they were buried there. Are you in touch with family members or the current owners there?
Otherwise, maybe the grave markers were damaged or never placed. There are a number of names of people said to have been buried at the Deadwood Pioneer Cemetery for which there are no markers (about 2 dozen). We hope at some point to use ground-penetrating radar to locate unmarked graves there (but that would not tell us who is where... just to not try to bury anyone else there!).
If the family home place is no longer owned by family members, I may be able to tell you who owns it, as I work part-time for a realtor and have access to some cool online tools not available to the public. If you can tell me an address I could look it up.
Best of luck,
Deadwood Pioneer Cemetery acting secretary

|Marilyn LePere||Hermanne Schultz|
Hi! I just wanted you to know that there is a website with headstones on it for the Lutheran Cemetery in Danville. It is called www.VermilionCounty.info or maybe you can find it at VermilionCountyinfo/illinois.com
I was looking at it today at the library and found the headstone of Hermanne Schultz 1873-1951 and with him Martha L. Schultz 1877-1942. The name of the cemetery is Lutheran Cemetery not Danville Lutheran or Immanuel Lutheran or Trinity Lutheran.
I am trying to clear that up with the person who has the VermilionCountyinfo/illinois.com website.
I do not know for sure but these photos of headstones may be copyrighted since there is a symbol in each corner. But at least you could see what the headstone looks like. There are other Schultz's as well in the cemetery.
Have fun climbing your family tree.

Hi, I'm guessing my message provoked confusion. I appologize for this. I do not recall specifically what I wrote. We looked all over the cemetery for their headstones and with the dates 1977 for Arthur, 1990 for Juanita. Since they are newer graves (meaning post Korean War), we thought we would find them. Headstones between the depression and this war are hardest to find. Usually you can find headstones for someone who passed away in the 1950's to present. This cemetery has a lot of markers, more so than most cemeteries. Very few of them were where you could make out anything on them. We did not find any headstone or marker with either of their names on them. I hope this clears up any confusion.

|Ruth Smith||Wayne E. Brincefield|
Hi - just saw your request for a picture of the grave for Wayne Brincefield. He is listed on the Fairmount official record as not having a marker. So I put a picture on his page of the general area where he is buried. I just today completed taking pictures of all the graves that are readable at Fairmount and it has taken me months and months but I enjoyed it a lot. Hope this picture is o.k. with you. Ruth Smith

|John & Linda Russell||Photo Request for A. Brown|
We posted a photo for A. Irene Brown at Happy Homestead Cemetery located at Lake Tahoe. Are you requesting a new photo to be taken? If so, I suggest you clarify your request. The seasons are hard on the markers and we tried to clean it with a soft cloth. We do not live there and take photos when visiting the area.

I also tried several times to see it and it keeps telling me the Find A Grave server is experiencing a minor crash, rest assured I have the picture and will add it as soon as they will allow me to download it again.

|Don Green||RE: Elizabeth Zeck|
You're very welcome for the photos, Kim. Yes, there is a marker for Bill. You can see it in the photo facing south. He is directly above her, not side-by-side as is typical. Unfortunately another volunteer claimed this request, so I couldn't post his photo. Stone is not in as good a shape as Elizabeth's. Glad I could help out !

Kim, You are correct, somehow I got the Lucindas scrambled. I have edited Lucinda Helen Orrill McMains memorial. I haven't any source information on any children with Francis Mathew McMains. You are correct that those children belong to Lucinda JARRED & Andrew Joseph McMains. Lucinda Jarred MCMains married after the death of Andrew to Sylvester Boyles, they are on the 1880 census with her MCMains children in Monroe, Mahaska county. thanks Don

You are very welcome. If you find others in the cemetery that you are related to, just let me know. If I'm not related I'll gladly transfer them over to you. They don't have to be your direct line. Just related.
Have a great afternoon,
