The mystery is solved. The sexton records at Evergreen say that Charles was moved to Oconto Catholic in 1990. I have no idea why. They would have needed a permit to do it. Also, those records say he died Nov 30 and was buried Dec 1. That seems very fast so maybe the Nov 28 on the stone is right. I will check for an obituary.

If you click on the picture you will see this comment below it

"We have placed flowers on the grave of Deborah Wallis as we could locate a stone. Her grave #704A is located by Cunningham #704C & Rees #704."

I am with the Oconto County Genealogical Society. We transcribed all county cemeteries. There is not a stone in Evergreen for Charles. I'll have to check why we have it as a sexton record. However, he is in Oconto Catholic. The stone has Nov 28, 1895. We also have been digitizing the newspapers. The home page gives info about the program. Click the big red button to search. There is a wonderful article about Charles' death.

I was wondering if I could copy two images you took and posted on, for my genealogy file. The images are of the headstones for Mary Augusta Harrison, Alice Coates Stockton, and Edna Irene Oldfield Stockton Mary is my first Cousin, 3 times removed. With your permission, I would also like to post them on my genealogy FB page: "John Harrison Sarah Lovell" with the notation: Source: Carol Sisson McLeod at I am not asking that you transfer the memorials! Thanks! Randy Harrison, Truro Nova Scotia, Canada

Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by filling the form here: and in the "Desired Service" field, select "Burial Location (free)" and enter the information.

If the Genealogy page was not helpful then email your request to

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

I tried to find the stone but couldn't, and when adding ones I did find I accidentally loaded to wrong one. Sorry but I couldn't find way to see who requested to notify of mistake. Feel free to request again and I'll keep my eye out for the stone.

Angels Chattering
Noticed your request for two photos at Surrey Centre Cemetery. Just to let you know, a contributor Herbert Rickards #10274696 took pictures of the entire cemetery during the last months of 2015 and early 2016 and has posted them all to the Memorials.
Since he posted nothing for the two graves you wanted pictures for this may well mean that they do not have markers.
Just wanted to relate this info but would suggest you continue to leave your request.
I will look myself if I get over that way but that could well be many months from now.
