Would you mind transferring this memorial to me?
If you are related or simply wish to keep it, I will understand.
Thanks and have a great day.

|Cathy Hounshell||Difficult cemeteries|
Just read your note about Floral Garden. A fee for information in a common practice out west in the larger cemeteries (Oakland, San Francisco, LA). But the best nightmare I ever found was in my mom's home town of Bogalusa, LA. There, the largest/oldest cemetery is owned by the city. They don't know who's buried where. All they track is who owns the plot. Talk about a nightmare, when the plot owner dies the transfer of title is not always registered. They have some plots registered to people who died in the late 1800's.

I started fulfilling photo requests after my mom unexpectedly died last year. Walking thru cemeteries with her, visiting with all her kin was something we did often. It feels like she's closest to me when I'm in the cemeteries....so thanks for the requests....it's my pleasure, keep 'em coming.

In response to your message"
I have located the gravesite of Marie Quattlebaum Griffith at Oakwood Memorial Park in High Point, NC. I will post a photo soon. I thought you might also like to know that husband Dixie Lee Griffith (Feb 25 1890-July 11 1965), father Julius William Quattlebaum (Jan 14 1877-May 29 1946), and mother Alice Turner Quattlebaum (Apr 10 1883-Oct 26 1933) are also buried there. I will be glad to post photos for those as well. I thought you would be interested since these may be relatives."
I would be extremely grateful to see the additional markers. Everything you do is greatly appreciated.

Can't thank you enough for making the effort to photograph William's grave marker. I visited this cemetery on a trip north and found many markers were very hard to read, so I appreciate you finding one I missed! Diane

|Stanley Baker||Jerome Green 36589814|
Would you transfer this memorial. Jerome Green is related to me through my mother. I knew his father and siblings in Coshocton, Ohio. I would like to link him to his parents and siblings. His family moved from North Carolina to Ohio in 1920.
Permission to use the grave marker pictures is also requested. Thanks for you work on Find A Grave

|Tammy Hall Shropshire||RE: Elizabeth R Allen|
Thank you so much! I appreciate the hard work, as I too, spend as much time as physically possible in cemeteries. Ironically, this relative was in the same cemetery where my 4x great grandfather is buried, and I walked that place for an hour to find his headstone. I suspect I have many more ancestors who are buried at Union Ridge.
Again thank you for all that you do, and for allowing me to use the photo.
