RE: Linking of Graves
Hi, To link children with parents, it depends on if you manage that child's memorial or not. If you manage the memorial you can use the edit button next to Family Links: and enter the father and mother's Find A Grave memorial number. If you do not manage the child's link, you'll have to use the edit button located at the top of that memorial and enter the parents' Find A Grave memorial number. I hope this helped. I'm lousy at giving instructions. I often confuse myself.

Hi, Judy ...

I guess Mike Burson has already processed a link from Martha to her father, B.A. I tried to make the link and there was already one pending. Thanks for the info, and we hope you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

RE: Meshell Family Books
Judy, thank you! Yes, Marie turned 85 on Saturday, and has a hard time with her eyes (thanks to her diabetes), but still tries to read. She personally knew B.A. and B.A.'s Marie (as she called your mom), and all of Papa Charlie's siblings. My favorite was Aunt Ida; she was always laughing. I didn't know the other girls. I can't wait to sit down and study these books...it's a shame your kids don't care about genealogy, but maybe someday they will. My daughter will definitely want to see this information. She was the only grandchild that Papa Charlie knew (born in 1975; he died in 1976). Thanks again for this wonderful gift!

Meshell Family Books
Hey, Judy ...

I've picked up the Meshell books you gave to Aunt Jo for David. My mom-in-law wants to look at them first, so I haven't had a chance to go through them yet. David is working overseas again and won't be able to see them for a while. I know there was money involved, getting this information together and printed up; so please let me know how much we owe you! Thanks so much for getting these for David.

I'm sorry I didn't see you when Mrs. Nora died. I didn't even know she had passed away until the next week or so.

Judy - Would you like Nora transferred to you? I am not related to the family.

Yes, I noticed that. I will try to find the obit with her name in it and get it added. Thanks, Judy.

RE: Fannie L. Chambers
I've corrected the spelling of your grandmother's name. I saw her name spelled both ways in a couple of places and chose Fannie as I thought one source might have mispelled it. I did some more research and I believe I found her maiden name and entered it. Would you like me to transfer her mememorial and your granfather's memorial to you? That way you can correct any mistakes I made and it'll be easier for you to update any information you have or discover later.

RE: Your Mother
Judy, Thanks for the lead. I visited your mother's memorial on F.A.G.

I had searched for it before, but I mistakenly thought her maiden name was "Chamberlain", as Mother had it in her book. I didn't have a clue that she had remarried after B.A.'s death.

RE: Your Mother
Judy, I'm sorry. I didn't know about your mother's death. Does she have a Findagrave Memorial? If so, what was her last name? My parents both died in 1993.

RE: Maebelle Meshell
Thanks, Judy . . .

I would have never guessed her name was Welch. This helps a lot. Is your mom still living?

RE: Maebelle Meshell
Thank you, Judy. I remember you as a teenager in school, and I thought you were beautiful. Little did I know at the time that I would marry into your family. David & I lived in your dad's old house in Strong for 10 years, where Uncle Chester lives now.
Please let me know if you come up with Maebelle's maiden name. It's great to hear from you!

Maebelle Meshell
Hello, Judy . . .

Couldn't help but notice your flower/note on Maebelle's Findagrave memorial. I am Charlie Meshell's daughter-in-law, so I guess we're related by marriage. Do you happen to remember Maebelle's maiden name?
