The Stone Centre
Photo for Jerome & Mary LORENTZ
Hi,
I just added Mary Lorentz's name to the findagrave database and linked her to her husband Jerome LORENTZ. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=100338370

Mary passed away yesterday and we will be adding the final date to her stone in the spring. I was wondering if you could post the same photo of their stone, on Mary's page that you posted for her her husband Jerome?

Thanks so much
Allison

No worries. We are here visiting from the Edmonton area. I find the cemeteries here so interesting in that they are much older than ones in the West. Glad I could help.

Mary Ann O'Neil
Cara,

Are you related to Mary Ann O'Neil (or James Herman)? I see that one of your surnames is Dietrich. My husband is related to Mary Ann (2nd great grand aunt), and he is related to Dietrichs/Detricks on the same line. I'd love to chat with you to see if you have more information on the O'Neil line than I do, if you're related of course. Have a nice day!

Philomena & Louis May
Hi

It's great to hear from you.

You sent me two messages this evening that two of the May headstone pics I desired already existed. Lucky me - I was notified that the photos had been uploaded by another Find A Grave volunteer earlier in the day.

I thank you as always for your commitment to brining ancestors to light through their headstones.

Happy sleuthing. Jan

Rita O'Neill, Belfast
Hi, Got your message and have removed the grave photo I added to Rita's memorial. The BCC burial records show she was buried with Patrick Hamill in grave M194 Glenalina extension, they have also got her burial date wrong. Do you know the proper grave number so I can update her memorial.
Thanks
Helena

Hello,
In response to your question, the information listed I found in the United States Federal Census and Mr. Halm's World War 2 draft registration card.
Hope this helps!

St Boniface Cemetery, Magdalena May
Thank you very much about your response about St Boniface Cemetery, stone reference 1-17-D.

I've continued poking. Magdalena/Lena was single on the 1935 Voters List as well as informing on her sister's death. Voter's lists in the 1940s seem to indicate that she married Edward Fehrenbach. She had been a spinster until then. I hope her last 15 years as an elderly married lady were happy ones. Thank you again for your confirmation. It has provided invaluable assistance to my search.

BTW, I see you're researching the family name Goetz. I am too. ;)

Thanks, Jan

Magdelena May
St Boniface Cemetery

Hi Cara, Tony & TSM. Thank you very much for taking so many photos of headstones. I'm a long way away, & your efforts are invaluable to my searching.

I'm looking for this Magdalena May.
http://ogs.andornot.com/WebPubResults.aspx

I don't think she is one you've listed as married (Magdalena May Fehrenbach) as the one I'm seeking was still using her maiden name in 1935 (age 67) when she was the informant to her sister's death. (She was born 1868 rather than the married Magdalena's 1864.)

Is there anyway for you to check to be extra sure the woman aren't / are one & the same. The stone I'm looking for is 1-17-D.

Thanks for any insight you can provide. Jan Fisher

Do you know if Ann Goetz Valid for Holy Sephcre in Burlington, since Ida was not. The girl at the cemetery didn't have her listed.

RE: Do you give permission for people to use your photos as such...
It would depend on the photo and where it is to be posted. Please leave a message on the individual memorial.
Thanks

RE: Question
findagrave has very specific rules on this. You can refer to their "Help with Find A Grave" section. In short, they ask that you only post the pictures that you take OR have been given authorization to use.

RE: Thank you for the photos
You are VERY welcome. Unfortunately the stones have been attacked by some sort of fungi or algae that is so very common in that cemetery.

Hi Cara

I had noticed your Hackett memorials in Ontario too---don't think there is any type of connection though. My husband's ancestors are from Co Tyrone Ireland.

Hello Cara;

Wow, I must be getting old, because I remember a lady named Charisse Hake from the States was looking for Ditners in St. Agatha, so I took all the photos of Ditners in St. Agatha & I sent her a photo of Ignatius Ditner 1823-1892.

If I'm wrong I apologize, but I saw another Marie K. Ditner in St. Agatha. Have a good day.
