Not a problem as you are very welcome.I noticed that you had his 1st wife's memorial so figured I'd transfer him to you so they could be together...

Have a good evening :-)

Janet Nicholson
John Robert Hall
Hello - I recently added the Hall family to Brandon Cemetery and notice that you have John Robert, son of Joseph James Hall and Helen Amelia Lathan Hall. The dates for the child are:

Born: Oct 23, 1901 Died July 11, 1902.

Whitehead Wanderings (1883 - 1983) states "John Robert was the only male child of the four brothers and is buried in Alexander. He was born in the brick house which J.J. built about 1896.

John Joseph and both his wives are on Find a Grave and buried in Brandon Municipal Cemetery - I hope you will link this little boy to his parents. Thanks. Janet Nicholson

Thank you for the nice compliment and thank you for your quick responses to my additions, corrections and etc. It is truly appreciated. After my last little slip up I may have to go in for OCD repair. LOL

RE: Oluf Johnson - St. Paul Cemetery
High Plains,
Thanks for removing the links. The sad thing about the original links is that I submitted them. I don't know what I was thinking about?? I missed the birth dates as being before the parents. I guess it was because there was so many Johnson's in this cemetery and just messed up. At least I caught it when I checked the ones that you approved. I will try to be a little more careful on these in the future. I still have a lot of these to muddle through before I am done.

Thank you for correcting The Romsdal Memorial. I think Monica will appreciate it. Her marriage was cut short with his illness.

Look in the First Luthern Church Cemetery, Plaza for Van Eekhout #7220881 and you will see the photos. I have a similar one for Rosie 1921 and no death date. Transfer to this cemetery and I will add the photo. DKauffman

Thank you for spotting this. I believe that this lady was the wife of my mother's second husband. The death date year is obviously a typing error.

You must be related in some way to have found this error. Shall I transfer management to you?

I did a check on Raymond Root and his last name is Root. So Sonny must be a nickname.

RE: Bear Creek Cemetery
Taking so many photos is enough work for me at this time. You have management control so I leave the linking to do at your leisure.

Have you actually visited the cemetery? I have added my share of photos throughout the posting and there are probably more linkages such as the McBean family.

I want to thank you so much for trying to find the headstone for William. Like you said the information should be free. I don't want to buy a book just for 1. Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. Gary Maret

Jane Clark Mair, born May 13, 1844-May 14, 1928 - findagrave #131877882; her husband, James Mair, born 1826-1888-Find A Grave#131877864 and their 5th child, Alexander born September 21, 1875-January 18, 1890. These should also be linked for quick finding.

They had 10 children, I have yet to find the other 9 childrens burial places.

RE: Periods after initials on memorials
Oh, I didn't realize that there was a change; thanks for bringing that to my attention, Judy. Actually, the period makes no sense, as if someone were to search with those parameters the period would throw the search off. ;-(
Thanks for info!

RE: Periods after initials on memorials
Hi Debbie,

Just when we think we have the rules down, they get changed.

Now, under "Memorial Naming Conventions" the Find a Grave recommendations say: "A period should be used after names where only an initial is known. If the full name is known, use the full name and not the initial." I take that to mean that we now use a period after an initial. Jane C. Doe instead of Jane C Doe. Sigh

Someone called this to my attention - twice - within the last few weeks. Since you did an edit on a memorial within the last day where you removed the period after the middle initial I though I'd let you know.

RE: deleted memorials
You are quite right, it does not matter which has the most information it is the one created first.
I did not intend to offend you. I know you have done a lot of work to put memorial on the site.
Thank you for all you do.

Re: Sandra Reitan #132813535
Hello, I didn't see the option on the 'edit' tab to request a transfer, so this was the only place I could leave a request. I am Sandra's youngest daughter, Suzanne, and would very much like to have her memorial transferred to me please. I just went to add her info and saw you'd already done so. Thank you.
