You are welcome. Goshen Cemetery happens to be just across the road from my son's place. There was a third name but I wasn't able to find a stone. Bill Lavery

I don't happen to be related so I couldn't comment about the person's identity. Someone named R. H. placed the photo.

Hi Dave, I saw no one could find a grave for you to take a picture. I have Elder Nathan Baker and two people searched for him and just resently someone else asked for a photo and a wonderful person found it. You can't read his grave, but his grand daughters has enough information on it to tie them in. They were broken and some where thrown out in the weeds next to the cemetery. What a great surprise.

In case you were wondering, the source on those edits I have put in (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.
Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

I took the pic of the marker flag thing, no tombstone when I was there but I think it is the right person, just the wrong dates. I haven't found an obit or a census to gain dob and don' find his death on the Soc Security death index. Think I pullled in those dates from someone's tree on Ancestry, but you are correct, can't be right. I know someone who might be able to help .. Melvin Duty's son James, my first cousin, lives in Muldrow.. I can see what he knows.

I would not have been the one who added that link. Norma Barr is the one who is maintaining the "parents" and she must have been the one who made that connection. Perhaps you can contact her and find out more information. You are correct in the fact that it doesn't seem possible due to ages.....

Thank you for looking for the headstone for Mary. It's so sad when a burial place has no marker. I appreciate your time and effort.
