|Uncle Oafie||RE: Merrills|
The three memorials you transferred to me are not relatives of mine, so I will be transferring them back. I appreciate your kind thoughtfullness, as you have transferred family memorials to me before. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks, Alan

My pleasure; it's not bad for a mid-winter photo. Here's a personal tidbit: Virgil Rowbury drove my school bus back in the day and would sing as he drove. My memory of him is hazy but I recall a happy man.

Hi Leland. Thanks for the note. You're right, after I looked closer people are listed as siblings. Thanks for the clarification. I really appreciate your offer to transfer memorials - you do have very close relatives (mom,dad,others) of mine. I'll need to get back to you. thanks again. jeff

|Ron||RE: Van Der Vlies|
You are very welcome. For what it's worth, there is a headstone next to her headstone and it is her husband's headstone. However, the name on the headstone is Aart Marinus VanDer Vlies, rather than Archie. I have sent a note to the person that posted the current picture, asking him to correct it. We have all made mistakes when trying to fulfill requests and I'm sure he will fix it.

I maintain the Dudenville Cemetery and I am in search of the next of kin for Gracie, John and Leah Bentel. We are trying to put together a contact list of next to kin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I maintain the Dudenville Cemetery in southwest Missouri and noticed you manage the memorial for Johann Christian Bentel. Are you related? I am seeking information to put in our cemetery history book about his family.

|Jerry Byington||Grave Numbers|
I am so sorry to have kept you on hold all spring, summer and fall. Thank you for writing again to remind me.
I've been very busy all this time, but that is coming to an end around the 1st week of January. At that time, I'll go get all the grave marker numbers and send them to you. I'm excited to work on this project, even got a very nice camera I can use to help with the project. Just have to "find", "have" and more honestly "make" the time to do it.
Thank you for your message.

Leland - My wife would like to ask you for a transfer of 52814230. This is her great-grandfather and would keep her family intact down through her grandfather, Augustus Simmons, and her father, Carroll Simmons. She is Faith Hope (Simmons) Macey and she has information on her great-grandfather's first wife and family, prior to his marriage to Mary Baney. Thanks for your kind consideration.

Leland, thank you for all the corrections. I am happy to transfer to you if you are interested.

|Jerry Byington||John Parley Byington family|
My dad is Keith Byington, son of John Parley Byington. My mom is Betty Morgan, daughter of Jessie Virginia Bush. You are managing several, (quite a few actually), of the memorials of my dads family.
I was just wondering if you would be offended if I asked for a transfer of those memberships. If you'd rather not, then that's OK. I can send you updates I have, which are many. If you would consent, I can send you the names or memorial numbers and my relationship to them.
I'm retired now and am seriously getting involved in this and have posted many of those same records on both our Parley Byington FaceBook group and my own groups as well.
Janice Byington informed me that she transferred to you all that she had, and complimented you greatly for the work you have done and continue to do. So, you have my thanks as well.
One person posted a note asking if anyone knew of there was a place in the Betty Ford clinic for Find A Grave addicts. I just had to laugh because I am becoming one.
Thanks, regardless of whether you transfer or not.
Jerry Byington. I grew up and went to school in Ririe. Hoping to hear from you soon.

I copied this from her life story.
"Viola died on July 2nd 1981 in the hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. She had suffered a stroke the day before. She was taken to the hospital in twin. Most of the grandchildren got to spend a bit of time with her before she was called home. She was able to have one of the dearest wishes of her heart right up to the very endů..that she be abe to be independent and take care of herself. "

You are correct. Karen finally found her picture of the origional headstone. It says that Thomas died in 1918. We do not have a picture of the Declo Ward records, but she found her written copy.
