If you are interested, I found Emma's brother - John Franklin McCurdy. He is buried in Haxton Cemetery at Haxton, Colorado with his wife Cleora and a daughter Fern Bentson. I submitted edit requests this morning to get him linked to his parents. I also requested grave photos for John and Cleora; a grave photo is already posted for Fern.

Joshua Bucy
Hi Shelley, Thank you for the link to Joshua's father. Mary Ann Rine is not his mother so I did not make that link.
I have family ties to the Bucy's so I want to maintain management of the memorials.
All the best, Debra

RE: Ames/White in Agawam Cemetery
Hello Shelly,
It would be easier if you click on "Request A Photo" on each of the memorials You want it posted to.

RE: Stickley's - Christian & Linda
From the Dayton-Green Cemetery records. Most of the people in the cemetery are related to me, but a few are not. I was working from a list that I got several years ago. Glad it helped.

I have walked the cemetery at least 3 times over the years, when ever I happen to travel to the area. I also subscrib to Family Tree Maker to use their on-line search engines. It all helps.

Gilmore's in York County, NE
I've added the pictures that I had stored and any information you gave me to update the memorials. I had forgotten that I was going to go back to the cemetery in the fall and cut some of the overgrowth out so that I could get a better shot of some of the headstones. I will definitely do that in the spring unless we get some warm weather again and I can go sometime during the winter- which would be better (easier to see the stones). We got our first significant snow yesterday and it will be impossible to get a good pic unless the snow melts soon.

You're very welcome, indeed! I am delighted to hear stories like yours. It makes it so much more fun to do this work -- although I do enjoy it anyway. I hope if you have access to a scanner, that you add a picture of your relatives to their memorials. It adds a lot. And perhaps you now have stories you could add?

Anyway, thank you for telling me. You really made my day.

Mary Coffin Nichols obit
You are quite welcome. That is one of the more interesting obits I've come across! She must have been quite a woman to have sailed around the world in that day and age. Have you found anything on her husband's burial place?

Posted photo of Levi Wrightsman's headstone along with other Wrightsman headstones.

Found a Grace Hinman Wrightsman, so took photos of other Hinman headstones also.

Olsen surname appears along with Hinman and Wrightsman headstones, so posted their headstone pics also.

The Olsen and Hinman surnames may not be connected to your research/family, but took and postedójust in case.

RE: Thank you!
I was happy to do this for you. I am trying to get in as many requests as possilbe before the snow falls. It was a perfect day to do this. I have found out that a cloudy day is the best to take pictures of the graves. Mt. Olivet has many trees and if the sun is shinnig the shadow from the trees makes the grave stones hard to take a picturs of.
If I can be of any help to you let me know. I will be going to the library to look up census and obits this winter so just let me know if you need anything.

I think if he died 7 miles SE of Wolbach, that would about have to be in Howard County, as Wolbach is right on the county line.

I'm glad you hooked that obit up to the cemetery. After I transcribed all those Wolbach Messenger obits, I matched them up to those buried in Wolbach, but neglected to go back and find those buried elsewhere! It is probably something I should take a look at.

It appears you are just getting started in Find A Grave. Would you like for me to transfer James's memorial to you to manage?
