RE: Thank you!
Yes, unfortunately there was no gravestone. The grave is located to the direct right of the stone in the bottom left of the photo.

Hi - If there's any chance that you can also take photos of my 3 requests for King Solomon cemetery, I would very much appreciate it! Especially for Max Markels. It took 6 months to get his death certificate from NYC, in order to find out where he was buried! Thanks. - Mark

RE: Greenwood Cemetery
According to the NY Times obit for Charles Rochette (publ July 21 1885), his wife, Esther, was the daughter of George Henriques (who is no listed among the lot residents). It appears that the Rochette monument is a remnant, which might explain the lack of any inscription for Charles. This also suggests that George V. Rochette might be the son of Charles and Esther, named after his maternal grandfather.

After rereading your message, I have to ask if you clicked on the photos to enlarge them and reveal the explanatory caption?

RE: Greenwood Cemetery
I photographed the Henriques lot as asked. Only Alexander's name appears on the vault entrance. I assume the Rochettes are related, as they are on the same lot. I am processing the photos and trnascriptions from the other lot (1072). There is no stone for Susan Henriques on that lot. The only surname there is CAUCHOIS.
