Obituary for John J. O'Leary

The Obit attached to this grave site is incorrect. There is an address indicating that the deceased lived at 552 Marshall, St. Paul?

Fact is the O'Leary farm was in Franconia MN and he died there.

Two Fritzes or One
You have two memorials for Fritzes b.1822 d.1892 buried at Woodbury Methodist. One is Johann K #76388980. The second is Carl #79589409. I encountered these when I found an index for Johann K on while researching Johann Karl Christian Fritze and found it strange that he went by Charles in the census but would be buried as Johann. When I searched Charles, I found Carl's son Charles which has a link to Carl's memorial. I have to ask, are the graves for Johann and Carl the same grave and there are just two memorials, or are they different graves?

James Busse
RE: Walter Sanborn
Thanks for the info. Yes I am related to the Sanborns through the marriage of my great grand aunt Caroline Busse to Conrad Gotzian. The Sanborns, Schurmeiers, Robbins, Gotzians, Driscolls and Hills all were the movers and shakers of St. Paul at the time, and there was a lot of intermarriage between the offspring.

Re: William C Weiler
Hi! I wanted to check with you, before I accept your edit on him. You want me to link him to his parents, William and Anne (Filson) Weiler? On his death certificate, it says her name was Ann White. Soooo, are you sure this is right? Just wanting to be sure. Thanks!

Ella Lewis/Nora Baker
Hi TJ. You sent a correction for the memorial I made for Ella Lewis and suggested her name is actually Nora Baker. I'm a bit confused, though, because the photo shows her gravestone and it says Ella Lewis.
Are you sure of your suggestion?

Thanks for the update on Wally Baumann and noting that I needed to add the extra "n"!

Duplicate record

My apologies, but I see I created a duplicate record for Wallace Baumann in Union Cemetery, Minnesota (107997324). Wally is my uncle and I've linked him with his parents in the same cemetery. Do you want to remove your record or should I remove mine?

Thank you so very much for posting the photo and article for Verne on his memorial page. He's my uncle who I never met. He was killed several years before my dad, his youngest sibling, was born.

Elizabeth Alvord
Thank you for the photo - of her patch of grass...I felt silly asking for a photo of basically nothing, but I wanted to see where she was located nonetheless. When she died the younger kids had to go to an orphanage as the Dad was too poor to take care of them...or to buy a headstone for her, apparently.

One day I hope to save a few bucks and maybe get her one...just something basic. I feel badly that she has nothing. Maybe you will take that picture too someday.

In any case, thank you for doing that. It is appreciated by her great great grandson.

RE: Thank you
You are very welcome - on a different note - your picture startled me, as it looks just like a picture of my mother, taken when she and my dad were on their honeymoon in 1948. Uncanny resemblence. Happy researching. G
