Mary Jane "Polly" Lovelace Porter
Hello Margaret,
I was thrilled to find the picture of Polly in your memorial for her. Her brother Reason Jr is my gggf.
I have a copy of my great grandmother's photo album, Reason Jr's dau Sarah Ann Lovelace Johnson. There are many many unidentified photos in it. Would you be interested in receiving a link to the photos with the hopes that you are other family members you are in contact with might be able to identify pictures. They are all very fine studio photos. There is a good chance some may be of her aunts and uncles.
Do you have any other photos in Polly's family?
My best

Emmaline Lewis Houston memorial
I was out at the cemetery today and took a photo of Emmaline Houston's headstone #87354424. Posted it in her memorial. You may want to move her photo up as the headstone photo took the top space. All dates on the headstone are correct with the memorial, hard to see it on the stone.

RE: Sorry..
This is the message I sent yesterday to: Karen Donner (#47731687). She said she is sending me the additional info off of the stones she has been photographing.
Hi Karen,
I am trying to make the changes as you send them. I am trusting that you are pretty sure the information is correct. I am getting hundreds of changes from 2 or 3 other people. I think they are playing some kind of game on me. They send me changes & then come back & say it is a duplicate. I don't know what they are up to or why, however it slows me down a lot. I have decided not to make their changes until I have time to verify them. I am sure I can make a mistake but I did not just make stuff up. Thanks for your patience.

RE: Sorry..
My interest in Crawford County are because I have a lot of ancestors buried there. I have found and photographed several cemeteries that I have found a lot of information. I do not know who these people are. I even ask to meet with Stevez this spring in his area. He never responded and he took his public message board down. I have no idea as to why he thinks I should believe his new and updated records without questioning any thing.
And as for all of the duplicates he says I make. I had one of my cousins tell me that he had her make changes to her memorials & then move them to another cemetery which then made mine duplicates.
I guess he did not think I would ever find any of that out. I also had one person tell me that there was no one buried in a very old cemetery in Crawford County that did not have a headstone. ??
My old records are all wrong???

I did not make this change. Note the name change to YEARY. I ask you about it and you said:
" RE: Pinson & Others
Do what you like about removing Jeaory name from Susan's name...but I warn you that some early Yearly records were located with this spelling~ You might want to add it to your files!

RE: Sorry..
They say:" She has been adding many memorials from old records which have lots of mistakes in them, and many of the memorials she has added recently are duplicates of existing ones. ..... She told me once that it wasn't her job to do research, which the rest of us do all the time."
I guess the old records are not correct but the ones they create now are the right ones.
I am SO SORRY to have you in the middle of this.

RE: Sorry..
I will transfer them back to you. I would like to know who sent that to you. I do not believe anyone would go to to all of the trouble of adding a lot of memorials to Find A Grave for the wrong reasons. 1. It is a lot of work. 2. I love to get the email from someone who has just found their Ggrandmother or someone they are so happy to have found. As for the changes they want me to make, I have decided not to make a lot of changes to the memorials I have added until I have time to check them out & be sure they are right. I get some real dumb request. I had one that wanted me to change the date of my mother's death to when my father died (from 2008 to 1991). I have been bombarded with a lot of changes from Stevez, Wanda & a couple of other people. One person is sending me additional info they have after photographing the stones in a cemetery. I am adding that info.

Thank you for all of the information. I have someone wanting me to change the name. From Susan Virginia Yearly/Jeaory Pinson to Susan Virginia Yearly Pinson. I won't make the change unless you tell me to. Very interesting about the President Bush's relationship. I like them both.
Thanks again,

Edna Baker
I am just a member of find a grave. I notice you have a memorial of Edna in the Salem Cemetery. Living close by I wondered where it was as I hadn't heard of it. There are now 20 memorials listed there but it is "Crown Hill Cemetery" in Salem IN. It is going to get rather confusing to have Crown Hill listed as Salem. Here is the link to a searchable database of Crown Hill.
Thanks, mandopkr

RE: Margaret Snoddy
There is nothing really to transfer of any records you were transfered Memorial# 78282169. Which is a memorial that someone else dupicated. The original memorial is:

Record added: Jul 11, 2007
Find A Grave Memorial# 20403573

The duplicate memorial was created in 2011. Yes Margaret is direct family.

Suggestion might be to read the Find A Grave rules with regards to duplicates. It is not my intentions to sound rude. Just that duplicates create issues when searching for family.

RE: Balderdash
Maggie, I'm so glad they took down that nasty Virtual Cemetery they had made. They're still out there (still harassing me as of this morning, anyway). Thank you for your help in resolving what I thought to be a very pompous, judgemental act on their part.

RE: Diehard Balderdash!
Hi, I think he must have gotten some complaints, so he took that "Virtual Cemetery" down. He's something else!! I'm glad he took it down, though. He doesn't even contact people, just bashes them on his page - what a loser!

RE: Burton Burials
My information is only from the gravestones. Usually if I know the gravestone is incorrect, I will add a note to the memorial. I have tried to delete duplicate memorials and correct mistakes as I find them. Please let me know if you see something that I missed that needs a correction. I have taken pictures of all the gravestones, but it appears that I have missed some or there may be no gravestone.
