After looking at my memorial and seeing your note, I believe you are correct and will change my info. My grandmother was a Seymour but this one is a long way back from her and my information can very well be faulty on occasion. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

It was quite the stroke of luck that I visited the graveyard at the time it was being renovated.

Hannah Hills 24541734
Hi Dorothy-You are correct about there being two Hannah Hills.
The real Hannah is buried in the "Old Hockanum" cem, AKA Old South Cemetery, and someone also put her in the "Hockanum" cem.
I will contact the person who put her in the Hockanum cem, and have her delete Hannah, as she is not there.

Also, the Samuel Arnold that you requested in the Hockanum cem, is not in the Hockanum cem, but in the "Old Hockanum", if he is the one who died Jan 7, 1829. Irma

RE: Doubles
OK. Here goes. Municipal Cemetery and Orchard Mesa Cemetery are, in fact, two separate cemeteries, but are on the same road. I looked up my entry for Currier and I had him in the wrong cemetery. The way to tell is by the location. The blocks in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery are listed by alphabet, ie A, Lower A, B, etc. The Municipal Cemetery blocks are numbered 1, 2, etc. There is also the Masonic Cemetery, Veterans, Odd Fellows, Calvary, St. Anthony and Ohr Shalom. All of these are all together on two sides of the road. Then we also have the Veterans Cemetery of Western Colorado in a separate part of the city. This causes duplicate type problems also.

Thenk you for letting me know. I deleted my entry for Mr. Currier.

Lizzie Louisa (Gibbs) Burnett

You currently show Lizzie Louisa (Gibbs) Burnett as being a sibling of herself and Elbridge G. Burnett, when in fact she is his wife.

I already added Lizzie's find-a-grave number to my Elbridge Burnett's profile at Find-a-Grave #11618310

Can you please delete Lizzie as her own sibling?

missing something. Pat Ford

Thank you..

Hi, thanks for your message. Before 1752, two calendars were used, referred to as old style and new style. You can "google it" for an explanation of why. Dates between Jan and March would be listed as Jan 7, 1678/9. So clearly Sarah was born 1678 old style used on her baptism record and 1679 new style used on her tombstone.

Azel Lawrence Bishop
The birth and death information on Azel's memorial (Findagrave # 155085007) appears the same as for his wife Ida May Fisher Bishop. I unfortunately have not found complete information on Azel yet so I did not want to suggest an edit.

RE: Sawyers
My Sawyer research is pretty sketchy...I put it on my "Parker and Craig Family tree" from references I got there from other family trees, but I don't feel comfortable saying that I am certain about whether I even have Sawyers among my ancestors. This is because the Parker ancestors in my family only go back with certainty to the 18thc Cape Elizabeth, ME, area and I have a brick wall with respect to tracing my Parker line further back. I believe it is the "further back" Parkers that I have tentatively associated with the Sawyers. My tree is public, and I'm happy to share any info of the Sawyers you see there. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

It is done.

If you want to write anything about Comfort or his wife or for that matter about any memorial I have posted, I would be very happy to copy-paste what you wrote and give you credit.

Thanks for the correction and your request.

RE: Rufus Harris
Hi Dorothy,

Follow this link for the birth date of Rufus. I puzzled over it all day yesterday. It appears that Peter Harris (his uncle?) and Abigail Cook are buried in the same Cemetery. Another uncle(?) Arthur Harris, father of Nancy, died 25 Jan 1811. He is also buried in the Palmyra Cem. Their "mother" Lucy may have been Lucy Harris, sister of Peter and Arthur, and daughter of Rufus Harris and Lucy Hill. If so, she may have been the first wife of Martin Harris, one of the "three witnesses" of Mormon fame. It would be nice to see the original bible or high-definition photos to check the transcriptions. All very interesting ...

Sarah Phelps married Andrew Moore not Amos! Their son was Amos, who was the father of our Hiram Moore who married Deborah Phelps.
